IF AM TO CHANGE ONE THING IN THE WORLD IT WILL BE ERADICATING CORRUPTION

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. Today I write that if I am to change one thing in the world it will be corruption.what's corruption, corruption is a global inflection that weakens democracy, silences economic growth and perpetuates inequality.

If i have the opportunity to change one thing in the world it would be that outbreak of corruption , breakdown of public trust, diverting resources and establishing poverty. Corruption is a structural problem that deprives millions of basic rights and weakens the institution. Bad government fueled by corruption is one of the main issues facing humanity.

In the society that we live in today, those in power abuse power for their personal gain, citizens lose faith in their government discouraging civic engagement, because of corruption bad leaders divert money that is made for building schools, hospitals and infrastructure into their own private pockets. The poor suffer the most from corruption.

Also the rate of corruption increases when the government is corrupt, the criminal network succeeds, the rate of human trafficking, drug trafficking and terrorism increases, in some cases corrupt leaders even collaborate with the criminal supporting violence and instability, also they prioritize projects that generate bribes over those that benefit society.

Bad governance with corruption is a complex problem that manifests in various forms which include frauds and favoritism it percolates into the material of the society misrepresenting public policy and undermining the rule of law.

Consequences of corruption

The consequence of bad government which brings corruption and discourages investment hinders economic growth and diversion of sources away from public service. Also corruption violates human rights abusing those with less power by those in power using their position to exploit and oppress the vulnerables.

Why corruption should be eradicated

If corruption and bad governance were eradicated the benefits would be numerous. There will be an increase in accountability and responsibility whereby the government will be more transparent and officials would be held accountable for their actions. services resources would be allocated more efficiently leading to better public services and infrastructure also the will be boost in economy growth and create opportunities

In summary corruption is one of the most pervasive issues that has severe consequences for societies around the world. so If I were to remove one thing in the world it would be eradicating corruption and promoting good governance. By removing bad governance we create a more just equitable and prosperous world.
