All about myself; introductory post

Hello, my name is Okpara Abigail chinenye.I am Igbo by tribe from the great city of Enugu (The coal city state) Born in Taraba state and raised in the vibrant city of Makurdi, in the northern part of Nigeria, I've had the privilege of growing up surrounded by love and support.
After completing my primary and secondary education in Makurdi, I pursued higher learning at the prestigious Federal University of Lafia, Nigeria, where I earned a Bachelor's degree.

As a young woman in my twenties, I'm grateful for the values instilled in me by my family. My father, in particular, holds a special place in my heart. His unwavering love and guidance have earned me the nickname 'daddy's girl.' We share an unbreakable bond, and I aspire to find a life partner who embodies the same kindness and devotion as my father while my mother on the other hand is a mentor to me a mother that would always choose her children over her happiness is everything and forever I will always call her my role model.

On a personal note, I'm a confident and bubbly individual with a unique blend of physical attributes. My tall stature, light skin, and charming dimples make me stand out. Above all, I'm proud of the person I'm becoming, and I look forward to the exciting journey ahead.

Now Back to my profile,My tertiary education journey took an unexpected turn when I was offered a course in Business Education, despite initially applying for Political Science. At first, I was disappointed, as my passion for leadership had driven my desire to study Political Science.
However, I soon discovered that Business Education was not only relevant but also essential in understanding the intricacies of leadership in the business world. Growing up, I had been exposed to the business world through my father's provision shop, where I worked alongside my siblings.
As I delved deeper into my studies, I began to appreciate the significance of education in business. I realized that education enhances business acumen, enabling entrepreneurs to make informed decisions about their ventures. From identifying suitable business opportunities to managing customers, finances, and strategies, education plays a vital role in ensuring business success.

My industrial attachment during my final year was a turning point, as it provided me with hands on experience in applying theoretical knowledge in real world scenarios. This practical experience not only reinforced my understanding of business principles but also equipped me with the skills and confidence to excel in my future endeavors.
As a graduate of Business Education, I am grateful for the opportunity to have studied a course that has broadened my perspective and prepared me for a successful career in business. The knowledge and skills I acquired during my studies have been invaluable, and I am excited to apply them in my future pursuits.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I've developed a passion for baking and confectionaries. With over six years of experience, I've honed my skills in creating delicious treats that bring joy to those who taste them.
My journey in baking began at a reputable baking institute called Royal View school of active minds and creative hands, where I learned the fundamentals of baking and confectionery arts. Since then, I've had the privilege of baking for various occasions, including birthdays, weddings, housewarmings, and even breakfast treats for my family.

What I love most about baking is the ability to create something that brings people together. There's something special about seeing the smile on someone's face when they take a bite of a cake or pastry that I've made. My customers and those who have tasted my baked goods can attest to the love and care that I put into each and every item.
Not only do I enjoy baking for others, but I also take pleasure in sharing my knowledge and skills with those who are interested in learning. There's something fulfilling about impacting my passion to others and watching them grow in their own baking journey.
Baking is more than just a hobby or a skill – it's an experience that brings people together and creates lasting memories. I feel grateful to be able to share this gift with others and look forward to continuing to spread joy, one baked good at a time.

In my free time, I enjoy a variety of activities that bring me joy and relaxation. One of my favorite hobbies is watching movies, as it allows me to escape into different worlds and stories.
I also appreciate going on dates in calm and comfortable settings, such as beautiful gardens. These peaceful environments enable me to connect with others in a serene and natural atmosphere.

Another passion of mine is photography. What began as a hobby has evolved into a valuable skill, allowing me to capture life's precious moments. As a member of my church's media unit, I've had the opportunity to hone my photography skills, and I'm thrilled to see the positive impact my photos have on others.
Photography has become an integral part of my life, and I'm grateful for the joy it brings me. Whether I'm capturing memories for myself or others, I find solace in the art of photography.

Despite my initial disappointment in not pursuing a degree in Political Science, my passion for leadership remained unwavering. I decided to channel this energy into school politics, and my efforts paid off when I was elected as the first female President of the Igbo Student Association at the Federal University of Lafia.
My tenure was marked by numerous achievements, with many testifying to the positive impact I had on the association. I received several awards for my exceptional leadership, and I'm proud to say that my projects were highly successful. One of my greatest accomplishments was ensuring a smooth transition of power, handing over the reins to a capable successor who would continue to drive the association's growth.
Through this experience, I demonstrated my ability to lead, inspire, and deliver results. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have served, and I'm proud of the legacy I left behind.
On a personal note, I'm a calm and lovely person to be around. I value meaningful relationships and have a special male friend who holds a dear place in my heart. His name is Precious, he reflects the value I place on our friendship.- -
