HIVE-reachout weely prompt: 33 >> How am coping with my resolution "the struggles and the wins"

in Hive Reachout22 hours ago

At the beginning of this year, I set some resolutions for myself focusing on my academics, financial stability, and personal relationships.

I started the year feeling motivated believing I could balance everything and stay committed to my plans and wishes But funny enough as time passes, I came to a realization that setting resolutions is easy, but staying consistent is where the real challenge lies, One of my major resolutions was to become more disciplined in my studies as a student of Imo State University.

My main aim is to avoid last minute cramming, pay more attention in class, and develop better study habits, truth be told it hasn’t been easy, Some days, I’m fully focused completing my assignments on time and preparing ahead for exams. Other days distractions take over and I struggle to concentrate, But I’ve realized that time management is everything and that there's still room for improvement but I’m definitely making progress, Another big goal for me this year is building financial stability I don’t just want to depend on allowances, I want to take control of my finances and make smart money moves for myself That’s why I’ve been working hard on Elite Pay Fintech my financial service business, while also looking into cryptocurrency, hiveblog and other ways to grow my income, It hasn’t been all smooth There have been moments of doubt, where I wonder if I’m doing enough or making the right decisions But nevermind I keep pushing, learning, and trying to make smart financial choices, I constantly remind myself that financial independence doesn’t happen overnight it’s a process that requires patience, effort, and constant learning, Apart from school and financial goals, I also made a resolution to be more intentional about my relationships life both friendships and personal connections most especially on opposite gender, As someone who is naturally introverted, I tend to keep to myself a lot But this year I want to improve on that act of checking on people more, build meaningful connections, and not take the people who care about me for granted, Having Jane Ozichi as a best friend has been a blessing because she genuinely supports me, and I’m learning the importance of reciprocating love and care, Relationships require effort.

I’m still realizing that showing up for people, even in small ways makes a big difference and create unforgettable memories in them This journeyof my resolution has taught me many lessons which include that: small steps matter and as long as I keep moving forward I’m doing fine, I know also understand that setbacks are not failures just because I struggle doesn’t mean I should give up And that growth requires effort whether in academics, finances, or relationships, nothing happens without intentionality, Honestly, I don’t have everything figured out, but I know I’m not giving up. I’ll keep adjusting, trying to find balance, and most importantly, being patient with myself. If you’re also working on your resolutions and struggling, just know you’re not alone. We’re all figuring things out, and that’s okay. What matters is that we keep going.
