Huhm, I find this very hard to agree with though. But I very well understand you. I believe there's nothing as good addiction, we have passions, things we do, aim at, our goals and all of that... Just as you have passion for the things of God.
But for the fact that the word "addiction" has been used, then there's nothing good about it. Simply means we are doing something that we've lost control/balance over.
