Firstly, what's your take on learning, growing up and becoming independent. Just briefly describe how you understand it on the comment section, great minds and Hivians.
Life can approach with challenges, with sweetness, but the habits of improving or tackling each phase matters and thats where maturity sets in. We all must have experience some major life changes either bad situation or good events like marriage certificate (good events) but later turns out to divorce papers (sad situation), recruitment that turns retirement or retrenchment, engagement that turns to breakup, and for majority of teenagers growing up theirs is leaving home and becoming INDEPENDENT,
These brought me to another interesting question I feel like asking, "How was your life before and after the major changes"?

If you've experienced any of these especially leaving your parents home and becoming independent, one which I myself have experienced. Growth is either going place through changes or constant learning, so as you grow there are certain achievement you're suppose to have or possess for the circle of life to continue, back then it was your parents time but now its yours to reciprocate that love and care especially when they're elderly.
As the first son in my family, especially we the Africans its lie s culture that you as a first son be more productive, command respect and provide automatically for the family though that doesn't mean other siblings won't, and to the females they ain't much pressure other than to get married and if she wants to help out her parents she can, on like the first born male that's its compulsory for him to. Almost all the responsibility would be placed on your shoulders and that when it might done on you that there's alot to meet up as a MAN.
When the reality of leaving home for school dawned on me, I decided to give grown up responsibility attention, especially when I'm ill I would call home for the best drug prescription to take after explaining my illness, I sometimes check on the internet to prepare some kind of dishes that I would have learnt back at home. So funny!
Doing all chores, laundry, cleaning around the compound and washing dishes became easy for me, on like before as a teenager growing it looks difficult. This is what independent lifestyle must teach you.

Either you prepare or not, independent lifestyle would meet you, so prepare beforehand and master your craft and also be productive so that you won't be sidelined.
Staying alone practically taught me "Timing"I was terrible at timing at early age, I hardly follow my plan for discipline not until I stayed alone, I wasn't told again I had to correct that mindset, everyday I have a plan for it.
Self dependent unveil different things I did not know about myself, the part of leveraging my skill to earn money since I had no one to be gifting me all the time, and isn't want to become a burden o my parents anymore, I AM MATURED, I AM NOW A MAN. I needed to be independent. Management of resources at my disposal was a skill I by myself learnt in order to survive on the long run. This is going to birth a better version of yourself.
I can attest that every independent men or women out there passing through so many difficulty just to make ends meet are self encouraging and disciplined. Keep the good work running.
Thanks for stopping by.
Wow, this topic has to do with everybody, what's caught my attention was that "every single independent person must self encourage him or her self regardless of what they're passing through. Motivate yourself and continue moving. This is insightful @samarijr0
Only you can truly motivate yourself to go beyond your limit
Thank you for reading sir @chizzy100
Hmmm, being independent is very overwhelming, cause the pressure wi be alot. Not just pressure from outside but you yourself, unknowingly we get pressured by just thinking of the responsibilities we are bound to carry and how to handle life by appearing strong. It's sweet to be independent but truth is it comes with a lot of stress. Thanks for this piece.
Being independent means you're ready to bear all the pains, pressure and responsibilities that comes with life and staying strong regardless
