My introductory post

My name is Daniel Stephen Ombugadu, but you can call me Smart Dan.

I am from Nasarawa State, Nigeria. I attended Akwanga South Primary School in Akwanga and later continued my education at the College of Education in Akwanga. Since graduating from school, I have faced many challenges in life.

It all started at birth. When you are born into a large family, life can be tough. I was not one of the lucky ones. I grew up in very difficult conditions with my parents, who constantly pressured me to survive each day. As the last born, my opinions were often ignored. Growing up, I had to break many unhealthy habits and strive to change my mindset for the better.

Life is not fair, and no one is born equal. Many intelligent people never have the opportunity to showcase their talents or earn a decent living, simply because they were born in the wrong environment. We cannot choose where we are born, but what truly matters is how we shape our future.

My experience with poverty and poor living conditions has affected me more deeply than words can explain. Although I want to help those around me, I know I cannot carry their burdens forever. I hope that one day the government will create an environment where everyone can thrive and sustain themselves. No one should have to suffer just to survive.

As the last child in my family, I am uncomfortable with the suffering I see around me. My siblings and loved ones deserve better. They deserve to eat what they want, not just what we can afford.

After graduation, things got very difficult, and I pray for success. Despite life's difficulties, I decided to marry a beautiful woman

who always supported me, Mrs. Benedicta Daniel.

I have a beautiful daughter named Testimony,

and I am so happy every time I see her. I love reading and writing,

so I decided to pursue content creation and filmmaking in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, Nigeria,

where I left after three years to join one of the best security companies in Abuja, Nigeria. I've worked as a security guard in different hotels, homes, and businesses in Nigeria, but unfortunately, the pay is very low. Sometimes, I spend my own money on food, and there have been times when I haven't had enough money to eat for a whole month, let alone feed my family. Realizing I couldn't continue living like this because I had someone to look up to, I started looking for other opportunities.

I worked as a painter engineer

security guard in several hotels and also did laundry. Eventually, my friend @ovey10
and @morentis told me about Hive. After hearing about it several times, I became interested. He taught me about the program, and listening to his lessons was very inspiring and encouraging.

Now, I'm 35 years old and still striving to build a better life for my family. As the last child in my family, I don't want to be a burden to them. That's why I'm determined to find something meaningful for myself. I'm very happy to be here and ready to give my best, because I truly believe this is where I belong.

I feel like a real life change is possible here. I always prayed for the opportunity to put my experience in security to good use one day, and I thank God for giving me this chance to make my dreams come true.
