Welcome to my blog about visiting a cafe. In a way, I'm not a person who likes traveling to a new place. I'm an introvert who only leaves the house when I need to eat out, drink coffee, or do grocery shopping. I'm not someone who likes to do social activities to fill my energy like most other people. Instead, my energy is drained faster when interacting with other people.
This time, I tried a new place in someone else's city, Langsa City which is a city in the province of Aceh. I came to this city with my husband, and also with the passengers my husband brought. Incidentally, my husband got a job to deliver our regular customers who I also know as friends. So, I'm allowed to join. The distance between the city where I live and Langsa City is about 140 km.
When my husband was in charge of completing his job of delivering his passengers to several places in Langsa City, I waited in a cafe while writing. The cafe is called ”Truffle Box”. In this post, I will share about the design in this place which I think is interesting to share.
”Truffle Box”
Hmm, I sat down for a while. Take regular breaths while opening the laptop. I noticed that it was starting to get quiet. This is because it's almost 12 pm on Friday, and the cafe will temporarily close for order processing and receiving customers. This is a regulation in Langsa City that requires closing cafes at certain times related to Islamic religious worship so that people can focus on worship.
I stayed inside while the maids rested as well. Luckily, it makes the cafe look quiet so I can take pictures of the cafe's design without having to feel embarrassed to be seen by many people, hehe.
”Truffle Box” has 3 floors, but this time I'm only sharing the design on the 1st floor. I only had the chance to photograph the 1st floor at that time. In addition, the 2nd and 3rd floors tend to be hotter because there is an influx of natural light. Also, because I came at noon.
Next, near the entrance to the 1st floor, we can arrange a lot of cakes and bakeries. This is a great idea to supplement their income.
On the other hand, the wallpaper panels and the sofa seem to blend together with the game's striking line texture. Using brown and black. Small details on the picture frames, lamps, and table poles use black for a bold accent impression.
Stepping deeper into the cafe, you will feel contemporary vibes. In addition to earthy tones, focus objects are created at several angles using contrasting colors, such as red chairs and lively patterned ceramics.
In the main room, the center of attention is created by the play of colors and lines. Using blue combined with gold as a motif creator.
To neutralize the vibes, use soft colors like gray and white for the furniture inside. A combination of sofas, sofa cushions, and comfortable seats.
Simple But Playing on Details
The concept of contemporary design also combines several materials at once to play up details in a design that looks simple. We can see this in the arrangement of accessories added to the walls of the room.
For example, adding black iron nets to create a bold impression on the walls. Also, wall shelves that use iron material but are played with white, black, and gold colors.
Iron shelves topped with black flower pots create a centerpiece for eye-catching detail. However, the shape of the iron shelves hanging on the wall has a next-level line texture game.
One thing for wall hangings that keeps my eyes fixed there. It was an ornament-like flower petal that combined elements of iron with a gold color. Interesting, right?
In the corner of the room near the bathroom, there is a simple waterfall made of natural rocks. Completed with a brown natural stone wallpaper. This space can also be used as a good photo spot, because it has the name of the cafe.
I think that's all for the review about the design in ”Truffle Box” this time. I close this post with a drink that I ordered at this cafe. Refreshing coffee on a really hot day that day.

The spectacular designs inside this cafe are sure to attract more customers. The arrangement of wooden chairs and tables is unique. Light bulbs hanging down from the ceiling provide good lighting at night. The combination of yellow with blue adds clarity to the main room. I am more attracted to decorative plants hanging on the walls.

Oh, that's great! You used the empty space to your advantage. I also get nervous when I take a photo in a place because people don't like it when too many people are involved. Or that's how I feel. We have to take a look the situation. Some of pricey place within up middle class place, I never take photo. It Will make the visitor is not comfortable ehehe.
