This residence enjoys a privileged location, right at the beginning of 5th Avenue, in the exclusive neighborhood of Miramar. This avenue was home to the most splendid mansions of the time. The Green Gables House was built in 1926 and, although it remains almost identical today, it has undergone minor modifications. For example, a photograph from 1926 shows that it originally had two chimneys. It is not currently known why it was decided to remove them, or whether they were destroyed as a result of some meteorological event.

The houses belonged to different clients that we decided independently. In my case I took as a reference a Venezuelan visual artist named Burner Wong, since I was very interested in the idea of creating a house for an artist. We started generating implementation proposals with simple volumetries, which would adapt to the needs of our clients, and make good use of the space we had available. After knowing these needs we would transfer them to a more functional program, and adapt the space to it if necessary.

Last Saturday afternoon, my wife and I visited Yum Thai Thai Restaurant. This restaurant is located Samanhudi Street no.7 Medan Maimun District – Medan City. For information for friends, Samanhudi Street is a favorite culinary spot for Medan city residents. Around this area, there are lots of family restaurants or cafes for the middle class which are the choice of Medan City residents. One of the reasons is because Samanhudi Street is in the middle of Medan City and is surrounded by various strategic objects such as government offices, as well as business centers.
