Greetings friends lovers of architecture and design I wish you a happy and blessed day, I am very happy to share my visit to the Marina Plaza shopping center, located on the perimeter avenue of the city of Cumaná, is one of the oldest and stands out for its beautiful design and proximity to the international fast food franchise McDonald's and a pier on the right side, Due to the economic crisis that the country went through, the mall was closed for some time and gradually many stores and restaurants have reopened, which has increased the attendance of customers to the establishment.
Saludos amigos amantes de la arquitectura y el diseño les deseo un feliz y bendecido día, me siento muy feliz de compartir mi visita al centro comercial Marina plaza, ubicado en la avenida perimetral de la ciudad de Cumaná, es uno de los más antiguos y destaca por su hermoso diseño y cercanía a la franquicia internacional de comida rápida McDonald's y un embarcadero al lado derecho, donde se puede observar el atardecer y una gran variedad de yates y botes, debido a la crisis económica que atravesó el país el centro comercial permaneció un tiempo cerrado y progresivamente muchas tiendas y restaurantes han abierto nuevamente lo cual ha incrementado la asistencia de clientes al establecimiento.
The mall consists of several buildings connected by corridors with arched roofs and in the central part has a large space where previously operated a large mechanical park, was a favorite of children and adults, on weekends, this park was the meeting point and family fun, has two floors, floor and second floor maintain a similar design columns and semi-arches that allow a wide view of the stores and their exhibits, also the front walls of the stores are glass.
From the main entrance is the walkway that leads to the pier, these are separated by a wall from which you can observe the landscape, enjoy the cool breeze and take nice pictures; the path is concrete and is decorated with terracotta, at the end of this are several steps and next to a store that stands out for its conical shape on the roof, covered with tiles and country decoration, in fact the fence of the store is made of wood as well as the chairs and tables, it also has a nice garden in the front and a pond where several turtles lived, a great attraction for children, you could not leave the mall without visiting these cute animals.
El centro comercial esta formado por varios edificios unidos por pasillos con techos en forma de arco y , en la parte central cuenta con un amplio espacio donde anteriormente funcionaba un gran parque mecánico, era el favorito de los niños y adultos, los fines de semana, este parque constituía el punto de encuentro y diversión familiar; tiene dos pisos, planta y primer piso mantienen un diseño similar columnas y semi arcos que permiten una amplia visión de las tiendas y sus exhibiciones, además las paredes frontales de las tiendas son de vidrio.
Desde la entrada principal se encuentra la caminería que conduce al embarcadero, estos están separados por un muro desde el cual puedes observar el paisaje, disfrutar la fresca brisa y tomar lindas fotografías; el camino es de concreto y está decorado con terracota, al final de este se encuentran varios escalones y al lado un local que resalta por su forma cónica en el techo, cubierto con tejas y decoración campestre, de hecho la cerca del local es de madera así como las sillas y mesas, cuanta además con un lindo jardín en la parte frontal y un estanque donde vivían varias tortugas de gran atractivo para los niños, no podías irte del centro comercial sin visitar estos simpáticos animales.
An important element in the mall is the presence of the Cinex cinema, which has remained operational despite the situation and shows movies from 2:00 to 7:00 PM, the location of the mall also allows easy access by public transport, as a bus line passes through there which allows the population to attend the cinema and the mall.
In front of the stores on the first floor there are some curious fish-shaped benches, decorated with ceramic cut-outs in different colors that form a beautiful mosaic. In the afternoon, they are the perfect place to rest and enjoy the view of the sea.
Un elemento importante en el centro comercial es la presencia del cine Cinex, que se ha mantenido operativo a pesar de la situación y proyecta las películas en el horario desde las 2:00 hasta las 7:00 PM, la ubicación del centro comercial permite también el fácil acceso con el transporte público; ya que una línea de buses pasa por allí lo cual permite que la población asista al cine y al centro comercial.
Al frente de las tiendas en planta baja se ubican unos curiosos bancos en forma de pez, decorados con recortes de cerámica en variados colores que forman un lindo mosaico, en horas de la tarde son el lugar perfecto para descansar y disfrutar la vista del mar.

El segundo piso está constituido por una serie de edificios que sirven de oficinas y residencias, son de color amarillo claro, el techo de madera recubierto con tejas, ventanas cuadradas y en la parte superior pequeñas torres triangulares cubiertas con tejas, cuenta también con un amplio estacionamiento, jardines, varias palmeras y frondosos árboles que brindan sombra.
La fachada es un arco de color blanco ubicado en tres columnas, este tiene un reloj en el centro y en la planta baja los pasillos que conducen a la parte trasera del centro comercial
To access the upper floors the establishment has escalators and concrete stairs, in the central part the floor is decorated with a brick and white star, in this space was located the park; the floor of the corridors is a nice combination of concrete and terracotta, the arches that connect the buildings are white with iron pipes like the railings of the second floor, the columns are cylindrical with a square base of blue, these serve as support for the arches and also separate the side aisles of the central courtyard.
I had several years without visiting this mall and it was very exciting to come back again, although many stores remain closed there is a better atmosphere, I hope that in the near future the establishment recovers its boom and many people can visit it, it was a nice experience to see the sunset and enjoy the scenery from the second floor of the mall the view is amazing and enchanting.
Para acceder a los pisos supriores el establecimiento cuenta con escaleras mecánicas y de concreto, en la parte central el piso está decorado con una estrella de color ladrillo y blanco, en este espacio se ubicaba el parque; el piso de los pasillos es una linda combinación de concreto y terracotas,los arcos que unen los edificios son de color blanco con tubos de hierro al igual que las barandas del primer piso, las columnas son cilíndricas con una base cuadrada de color azul, estas sirven de soporte a los arcos y además separan los pasillos laterales del patio central.
Tenía varios años sin visitar este centro comercial y fue muy emocionante volver nuevamente, aunque muchos locales permanecen cerrados se ve un mejor ambiente, deseo que en futuro cercano el establecimiento recobre su auge y muchas personas puedan visitarlo, fue una linda experiencia ver el atardecer y disfrutar el paisaje desde el primer piso del centro comercial la vista es increíble y encantadora.
