January 21st Update: Reached 100,000 WIT Tokens Staked!

Aside from the fact that it's a great place to create content and express your creativity, one of the things I really like about Hive and its surrounding communities is that we can also use it as a place to record personal milestones reached... even if such posts are mostly for our own benefit.

WIT Token Milestone Reached!

As I was checking my Hive-Engine wallet this morning, I realized that after staking the last few tokens my staked total of the relatively new Writer’s Token (WIT) just passed the 100,000 tokens mark!

I think that's pretty amazing, given that I just started with this token a the beginning of the year!

Confession: I actually didn't work terribly hard to reach this particular milestone. 60,000 of the tokens came to me as a result of the Airdrop I received for supporting @cccf, @worldbuilder and creativity on Hive, via delegation of CCC tokens.

Even so, it was a quick trip from 60,000 to 100,212 tokens!

100,000 WIT tokens may not be a great fortune, but there are a lot of creative writers on Hive, and if more people get behind the project, I see no reason why the token couldn't become quite sought after, and the price settle in around a few cents per each.

Makes me wonder whether @worldbuilder is planning to launch its own Hive-Engine "Outpost" with a customized front end for writers?

Time will tell, I suppose!

Anyways, that's all for this update... thanks for stopping by!
