My Favorite Part of the Year

in Creative Coin23 days ago

Mid-late spring is my favorite part of the year, and it passes so quickly that I rarely even enjoy it enough. I guess this is Sunday shitposting, but sometimes we need a break from being too serious and focused, lol.

I love to see nature gradually coming back to life and the temperature is usually great, which is why I don't like summer for example, because it's too damn hot, and you can't do anything outside except early in the morning or late in the evening. Not in the spring though... You can enjoy the whole day, even the chilly mornings and evenings if you dress accordingly.

Then, all season you have rounds of flowers and trees blossoming. This is our cherry tree, but the photo is a little old from my phone, its flowers already passed this year and I haven't taken a picture of it again, although it was beautiful as always. I can understand why the Japanese love this tree.

So, I said I don't like summer... I don't like winter either, because I don't like cold or snow. Although I haven't seen much snow lately.

Another period of the year I also enjoy is mid-late fall after the summer heat dwindles and the cold hasn't claimed its rights yet. I like the yellow-red-brown shades of fall too.

We had great weekend weather over here and we tried to stay outside mostly, especially today. Looks like next week will be the same, maybe getting too warm already for April. If these are the highs now (27 °C next week), what will we have in July and August? I don't even want to think about it. I know in other parts of the world, 27 °C at this time of year may seem quite low, lol. But the average 60-year temperature in April close to where I live has been 11-12 °C. It's true, the highest temperature for April in my country is significantly higher than 27 °C, and the record is almost 40 years old.

Ok, gotta run out again before dinner. 😀 See ya' tomorrow! Or in the comments section. What is your favorite season?

Your cherry tree flowers look awesome. In the four season setting I think I like Spring and Fall because of the nice weather and temperature. Fall might be better because there is less rain. Unfortunately, in the Philippines there are only Summer and Rainy season. Both of which I'm not a fan of haha.

Oh, seems like you're not enjoying your time there, at least from the weather side. Without considering extremes, I think I'd hate the most humid hot weather.

Humid and hot is really nasty. You get all sticky. And that is everyday in the PH. I mostly stay indoors. People like to go to malls because there's air conditioning.

You get all sticky.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking... You probably have to shower 3 times a day and it won't feel enough.

And that is everyday in the PH.

Sorry to hear that. Even when it's not rainy season?

Even when it's not rainy season?

I think it's even more so when it's not rainy season. It gets a little cooler when it rains, but on regular days, it's almost always hot and humid. And when it's hot you sweat, so you're sticky because of your own sweat and humidity.

Ok, gotcha! I thought maybe the air was not so humid the rest of the year.

I tend to like Spring or Fall. I don't like Winter because its too cold and Summer because its too hot.

Seems Summer and Winter aren't very popular, lol. I should've created a poll.

Hello, @gadrian. I'm glad you took a day off to enjoy the outdoors during your favorite time of the year! I love the picture of your white blossoms. What kind of camera did you use to take the picture with? This is my favorite time of the year too! I love all the new flowers opening up and the new green leave on the trees. It is all so beautiful to me as well as the cherry blossoms of all kinds. I really love daffodils too! Thanks for posting this @gadrian. You helped change my mood to a better mood. Have a nice week ahead. Barb !BBH !CTP #ctp

@gadrian! Your Content Is Awesome so I just sent 1 $BBH (Bitcoin Backed Hive) to your account on behalf of @adcreatordesign. (1/1)

What kind of camera did you use to take the picture with?

I have no idea. Whatever camera my smartphone has. Not really interested in the technical details of the cameras since I am generally quite a bad photographer and I would make a camera look bad, lol.

I really love daffodils too!

We have some of them too in our yard! Here's one (photo from last year):

EDIT: Hmm, sorry, we don't have any daffodils in the yard, I thought it meant hyacinth.

OK, that's OK @gadiran. I was just curious. Your pictures are quite good of your flowers I must say! 😊🌟👍 I think your blue flower is a bluebell. I think there is another name for the bluebell. Your name is correct as well. See what I found on Google for Bluebell.
Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta)

In the language of flowers, the bluebell is a symbol of humility, constancy, gratitude and everlasting love. It is said that if you turn a bluebell flower ...

Thanks, Barb! Well, that's how Google translated it for me. 😀 I'm not an expert in flower names in my own language, but in English, I certainly mix them up.

You are right @gadrian and I didn't know the correct name for the blue flower. I have only know it as blue bells. We have too many names for words that are the same thing. Blue Bell is like a nick name I guess. 😃

I also prefer in between the extremes of summer and winter, which are spring and fall. I think those seasons give us the best of both without touching the far end of too hot or too cold. However, sometimes spring can feel like summer over here :)

If you go out at noon, so does here. Thanks for dropping by!

This kind of weather is also our favorite season when it is not too hot and not too cold. The best advantage of this weather is that we can go out of the house all the time to walk around.

Exactly. The time when you can go out at any time of the day and enjoy it (even if you do some chores), is the best.

Yeah you are right.

What is the difference between middle Kate spring and normal spring
Does the temperature differs?

They do in our part of the world with 4 distinct seasons. Early spring is usually colder, sometimes rainier (even snow in some areas), in the second part of spring little reminds us of winter, normally.

i like summer cause you can go to the seaside

Well, that's true. Haven't been to the seaside in a while. It's still hot over there too in the summer, but I do love walking on the beach.
