Le lectura es un hábito que tengo desde hace muchos años, alrededor de los 10 años fue que comencé a desarrollarlo. En ese tiempo leí muchos libros infantiles y pocos de robaron mi corazón pero es Matilda, uno de esos que he releído y han vivido por siempre en mi corazón y mi memoria… Esa es la razón por la que estoy aquí para hablarles la historia universal que nos dejó muchas lecciones.
Reading is a habit that I have had for many years, around the age of 10 was when I started to develop it. At that time I read many children's books and few of them stole my heart but Matilda is one of those that I have reread and have lived forever in my heart and my memory... That is the reason why I am here to talk to you about the universal story that left us many lessons.
Matilda es un libro infantil escrito por Roald Dahl, el cual nos plantea la historia de una peculiar e inteligente niña llamada Matilda; la niña adora los libros y aprender cosas nuevas todo el tiempo, sorprendentemente sus padres lo toman como algo inútil, siendo ella la persona que siendo tan pequeña rompe los esquemas. Cumpliendo de ir a la escuela, se enfrenta a una temeraria señora: Trunchbull… Con estas nuevas experiencias Matilda experimenta algo totalmente maravilloso.
Creo que todos conocemos la icónica historia de Matilda, y aunque recordaremos haber visto mil veces la película de Disney; me gustaría aclarar que el libro es maravillosamente uno de los que mejor recuerdo de mi infancia y que he releído otras veces; la versión que yo tengo en español es bajo la firma de Alfaguara Infantil, la cual tiene ilustraciones de Quentin Blake; y siento que tener ilustraciones lo hace muy agradable y curioso para los niños.
El personaje de Matilda es simplemente perfecto, es su ingenuidad y su extraordinaria inteligencia los que le dan una muy buena personalidad… Una niña extraordinaria para una familia que no valoraba ello, sus padres son tan apartados de ella que me demuestra cómo hay personas que nacen con un propósito tan marcado que aun teniendo limitantes logran imponerse ante la vida.
Matilda is a children's book written by Roald Dahl, which tells the story of a peculiar and intelligent girl named Matilda; the girl loves books and learning new things all the time, surprisingly her parents take it as something useless, being her the person who being so small breaks the schemes. When she is about to go to school, she faces a reckless lady: Trunchbull... With these new experiences Matilda experiences something totally wonderful.
I think we all know the iconic story of Matilda, and although we will remember having seen the Disney movie a thousand times; I would like to clarify that the book is wonderfully one of the ones I remember best from my childhood and that I have reread other times; the version I have in Spanish is under the signature of Alfaguara Infantil, which has illustrations by Quentin Blake; and I feel that having illustrations makes it very nice and curious for children.
Matilda's character is simply perfect, it is her ingenuity and her extraordinary intelligence that give her a very good personality... An extraordinary girl for a family that did not value it, her parents are so detached from her that it shows me how there are people who are born with such a marked purpose that even having limitations they manage to impose themselves in life.
El libro es corto, una historia que por más que leo me parece fresca y divertida, también tiene su toque de dulzura sobre todo con la relación de Matilda y La señorita Honey (Miel en español) ambas viven momentos únicos y muy graciosos dentro de la trama; se sienten como dos seres que desde un primer momento hacen conexión. Una que es muy fuerte y sustenta la trama que se nos presenta; sin embargo no podemos olvidar que es una historia infantil y por lo tanto algunas cosas pueden parecer irreales.
El personaje quizá más desagradable estaría bien debatido entre los padres de Matilda y la Directora Trunchbull… Que por cierto es un personaje bastante desagradable pero gracioso, llega un punto en el que la venganza de Matilda se vuelve muy graciosa y hace que la lectura sea mucho más amena.
El final feliz de este libro es mi favorito por siempre; digno de un libro infantil.
The book is short, a story that as much as I read it seems fresh and fun, it also has its touch of sweetness especially with the relationship of Matilda and Miss Honey (Miel in Spanish) both live unique and very funny moments within the plot; they feel like two beings that from the first moment make a connection. One that is very strong and sustains the plot that is presented to us; however we cannot forget that it is a children's story and therefore some things may seem unrealistic.
The perhaps most unpleasant character would be well debated between Matilda's parents and Headmistress Trunchbull... Who by the way is a rather unpleasant but funny character, there comes a point where Matilda's revenge becomes very funny and makes the reading much more enjoyable.
The happy ending of this book is my all time favorite; worthy of a children's book.
Matilda es un libro que me encanta por ser tan fresco y divertido, es tan liviano que me hace sentir que nuevamente soy niña y por eso me encanta releerlo… Una historia icónica y que ha tuvo tanto éxito que ha traspasado las fronteras del idioma, el tiempo y las generaciones. Un libro que me recuerda que siempre tenemos que conservar a nuestro niño interior y que no importa en qué circunstancia te encuentres, si naciste para ser extraordinario lo serás; que aprender es la mayor riqueza que podemos tener como personas, una que siempre debemos aprovechar.
Matilda, por siempre mi libro infantil favorito.
Matilda is a book that I love because it is so fresh and fun, it is so light that it makes me feel like a child again and that is why I love to reread it... An iconic story that has been so successful that it has crossed the borders of language, time and generations. A book that reminds me that we always have to keep our inner child and that no matter what circumstance you are in, if you were born to be extraordinary you will be; that learning is the greatest wealth we can have as people, one that we should always take advantage of.
Matilda, forever my favorite children's book.

Matilda es mi pelicula favorita desde que era muy pequeña, pero ignoraba por completo que estuviese basado en un libro, algo así también me pasó con Charlie y la Fábrica de Chocolates. No he leído el libro pero asumo que ha de ser una lectura muy entretenida y seguramente ha animado a más de un niño a introducirse más y más en el mundo de la lectura igual que tú.

Matilda is my favorite children's book besides Harry Potter... I like Matilda more than Charlie... My admiration to see Matilda being able to read so many books in such a short time is really motivating... The story is so cool... Wormwood family, Miss Trunchbull, Miss Honey , I still remember them
