Hoy he dedicido animarme a participar en esta maravillosa iniciativa para aprovechar y recomendar el maravilloso libro que leí hace un tiempo, hace como 3 años para ser verdad. Me gusta muchísimo leer aunque los libros que he tenido han sido digitales, en esta ocasión les hablare de un libro que afortunadamente tengo en físico y es “El hombre que calculaba” – Malba Tahan. Y sobre el impacto que tuvo este libro para mí y por qué deberían leerlo.
Reseña del Libro
Este libro como su nombre lo dice “ El hombre que calculaba” - Malba Tahan, es un libro que habla de matemáticas pero más allá de eso tiene la capacidad de atrapar al lector gracias a que su género se inclina hacia la aventura . Escrito por el brasileño Julio César de Mello y Souza también conocido como Malba Tahan pseudónimo que utilizaba para sus libros, este libro fue publicado por primera vez en el año 1938 siendo un éxito y asi mismo traducido a varios idiomas. Éste libro comienza con una dedicatoria a la memoria de 7 grandes geómetras, entre ellos: Descartes, Newton, Leibniz, Euler, Comte, Pascal y Langrange, además para el gran matemático musulmán Buchafar Mohamed Abenmusa Al-Kharismi. Y dedicada a todos los grandes estudiantes de las diferentes ciencias.
Conociendo un poco el libro, habla sobre las matemáticas y permite entender más cómodamente y con ejemplos claros la ciencia de las matemáticas con dibujos y gráficos , su objetivo es resolver esos problemas matemáticos que se nos presentan en la vida y es allí donde podemos ver la importancia de saber resolver cálculos matemáticos desde una simple suma o resta, multiplicación o división que puede solucionar tantos conflictos y que a la vez hace que veamos las matemáticas como algo tan fácil desarrollar y aprovechar. A través de sus aventuras plasma cada ocurrencia y cómo gracias a sus conocimientos pudo ayudar a otros y ayudarse así mismo en la búsqueda de la igualdad y la solución de conflictos. Al finalizar los capítulos tiene una sección específica para resolver cálculos matématicos y pequeñas clases escritas para entenderlos.
Así mismo en unos de sus capítulos relacionó la nostalgia de la vida con los cálculos matemáticos diciendo textualmente:
“La nostalgia es calculada por guarismos también: distancia multiplicada por el más querido factor”. - El hombre que calculaba
Y es que desde ese punto de vista nos hace entender más rápidamente cómo las matemáticas están más relacionadas con nosotros de lo que creemos, es fácil llegar a pensar que somos un cálculo matemático ¿No creen?, si vamos por la vida filosofando e intentando resolver nuestros problemas como si fueramos solo eso: una teoría matemática, tal vez sería más fácil de resolver aunque sabemos que el ser humano es más complejo que eso, sin embargo, podría ser una de las tantas formas de ver la vida.
¿Por qué recomiendo éste libro?
La verdad me parece interesante la forma en la que el autor logró conectar ambos temas entre ellos la aventura, los conflictos de la sociedad y las matemáticas como uno solo, y aun así obtener beneficios con sus acciones .. creo que es un punto de vista que no todos pueden ver y por eso los invito a leer este libro, que creen sus propias hipótesis y reflexiones con los casos matemáticos presentados en cada capítulo y pongan a trabajar su intelecto, siempre digo que un libro nos transporta a otro mundo, imaginen estar allí .. Más allá de una historia deja una enseñanza y les va a servir en la vida. Además creo que otra enseñanza de este libro es no vivir la vida a la deriva, es utilizar tus conocimientos y aprovecharlos, servir a los demás y dejar huellas, así como esos grandes geómetras fallecidos a los que se les dedicó este maravilloso libro.
Sin más que decir me despido, fue un placer participar en esta maravillosa iniciativa y brindarme la oportunidad de invitar a todos los usuarios a leer este libro, es muy interesantes y les dejará muchas enseñanzas además de ser entretenido, recuerden que si queremos viajar podemos hacerlo con nuestras mentes a través de un valioso libro. Today I have decided to encourage myself to participate in this wonderful initiative to take advantage of and recommend the wonderful book that I read a while ago, about 3 years ago to be true. I really like reading although the books I have had have been digital, this time I will tell you about a book that fortunately I have in physical form and it is "The man who calculated" - Malba Tahan. Book Review
This book as its name says "The man who calculated" - Malba Tahan, is a book that talks about mathematics but beyond that it has the ability to catch the reader thanks to the fact that its genre leans towards adventure. Written by the Brazilian Julio César de Mello y Souza, also known as Malba Tahan, the pseudonym he used for his books, this book was published for the first time in 1938, being a success and also translated into several languages. This book begins with a dedication to the memory of 7 great geometers, among them: Descartes, Newton, Leibniz, Euler, Comte, Pascal and Langrange, as well as the great Muslim mathematician Buchafar Mohamed Abenmusa Al-Kharismi. And dedicated to all the great students of the different sciences.
This book on mathematics allows us to understand more comfortably and with clear examples the science of mathematics with drawings and graphs, its objective is to solve those mathematical problems that arise in life and that is where we can see the importance of knowing how to solve mathematical calculations from a simple addition or subtraction, multiplication or division that can solve so many conflicts and that at the same time makes us see mathematics as something so easy to develop and take advantage of. Through his adventures he captures each occurrence and how thanks to his knowledge he was able to help others and help himself in the search for equality and conflict resolution. At the end of the chapters it has a specific section to solve mathematical calculations and small written classes to understand them.
Likewise, in some of his chapters, he related the nostalgia for life with mathematical calculations, saying:
"Nostalgia is calculated by figures too: distance multiplied by the most beloved factor". -The Man Who Calculated
And from that point of view it makes us understand more quickly how mathematics is more related to us than we think, it is easy to come to think that we are a mathematical calculation, don't you think? If we go through life philosophizing and trying to solve our problems as if we were just that: a mathematical theory, perhaps it would be easier to solve although we know that the human being is more complex than that, however, it could be one of the many ways of seeing life.
Why do I recommend this book?
The truth seems to me interesting the way in which the author managed to connect both themes including adventure, the conflicts of society and mathematics as one, and still obtain benefits with his actions .. I think it is a point of view that not everyone can see and that is why I invite you to read this book, to create your own hypotheses and reflections with the mathematical cases presented in each chapter and put your intellect to work, I always say that a book transports us to another world, imagine being there .. Beyond a story, leave a teaching and it will serve them in life. I also believe that another teaching of this book is not to live life adrift, it is to use your knowledge and take advantage of it, serve others and leave traces, as well as those great deceased geometers to whom this wonderful book was dedicated.
