Paulo Coelho "Adultary" / Paulo Koeljo "Preljuba"

in Hive Book Club2 years ago

It's been a long time since my last post in @hivebookclub community, but also on Hive in general. I miss writing post as much as I miss reading books. Half a year ago I take a membership in the city library so I could pick some books from there like I did when I was in elementary and high school. I was a passionate book lover. I gave up on reading book when I enrolled at the University, but since I finished with all lessons, I decided to get back in my reading routine and relax myself like before.

About a month ago me and my friend went to vacation for 10 days and before a trip we asked each other if we can excange some books from our home libraries and take it on a trip. When I was looking at which book to take, I noticed couple of books I bought her as a birthday presents and one book she bought last year when we were on a trip together. I remembered we spent about half an hour in book store, lol, before she bought it. I choose that one - Paulo Coelho "Adultary" (Serbian - Paulo Koeljo "Preljuba").

Here is the book cover and my favorite bookmark with one of the BTS member (my bias J-Hope) I ordered from AliExpress.

To be honest, I was pretty slow with reading while I was on vacation. I was too tired during the trip to read. I overslept most of the time because we were traveling at night and the bus lights were off. So I decided to take a book on beach since I was spending more time tanning under the umbrella than in the water (I don't know to swim, lol), so I have a chance to read it. I didn't spend much time on the beach, but however, after we return to our accomodation, we would go somewhere again, so there's no chance to relax and read.

So I finished the book only when I returned home to Serbia and went to my grandmother in the countryside.

This was the first book from Paulo Coelho I've ever read and I really liked it. It helped me to understand life much better and that even if we have everything in life (healthy family, children, husband, job...) we always want something more to be happy after we get in routine. That sometimes we have to do something wrong and make a mistake to understand our lives and how happy we truly are with what we have.

Do you have any suggestion for Paulo Coelho's book? What to read next?

Hope you have a nice week :)
