This year, I wanted to put together a special list of books for October and November: adult reads with mature protagonists that transport us to dark, gothic, or melancholic worlds. From witches and mysterious academies to intense dystopias and plots full of secrets, each book is a little autumn adventure that promises to thrill, unsettle, and sometimes even make you fall in love.

There isn't much to say about this book. We all know The Hunger Games, a trilogy that is very important to me, and I still can't get enough of this story.

But while looking for books with that gothic and dark vibe, I remembered this title, and after researching the plot again, I decided it deserves a chance.

I expect it to be a magical and emotional story, ideal for reading while snuggled up with a cup of coffee in hand.

So I have this book as a transition, because after so much darkness, witches, dystopias, and melancholy, I needed something light to close out the season. A book that's like a sweet dessert at the end of an intense dinner: fun, fresh, and guaranteed romance.

🍂Nota: Sí, lo sé, no es nada dark😂 Pero es el último de la lista, porque a este punto ya estaría comenzando Diciembre, y allí quiero cambiar las vibras de mi lectura. Así que este libro lo tengo como una transición, porque después de tanta oscuridad, brujas, distopías y melancolía, necesitaba algo ligero para cerrar la temporada. Un libro que sea como un postre dulce al final de una cena intensa: divertido, fresco y con romance asegurado.

🍂✨ Y bueno, aquí queda mi lista. No sé si me dará tiempo de leerlos todos, pero lo cierto es que hace mucho no me sentía tan motivada con mis lecturas. Creo que logré un equilibrio con: dark fantasy, dark academia, brujas, demonios, distopías y guerras, la melancolía propia del otoño y hasta un romcom para cerrar con ligereza.
La idea es ir disfrutándolos poco a poco, y a medida que los vaya leyendo les dejaré la reseña individual de cada uno. Me encantaría que me cuenten en los comentarios si ya leyeron alguno de estos títulos o si tienen su propia lista de libros para estos meses📚

Es una lista bastante interesante para leer, pero en mi caso no solo en octubre 😄 sino todo el año, ya que precisamente en Venezuela, donde también vivo, no hay otoño, de hecho solo tenemos una estación, verano, que se divide en estación seca y lluvia, pero pensándolo bien sería una buena lectura para un día de lluvia acompañado de una taza de café o chocolate.
Sin duda, las vibras de estos libros son mi vibras en todo el año también🤭 pero siento que en estas temporadas hay un sentimiento más especial con estos géneros literarios✨🍂
