Les cuento que ayer aproveché mi dia libre y decidí dar un paseo con mi papá, visité una hermosa librería de la cual me habían hablado la cual estoy muy emocionada de mostrarles, les cuento que para mi fué el paraíso, salí muy contenta y espero volver de nuevo esta semana que viene por unos libros hermosos que reservé, los cuales les compartiré un poco más adelante, y salí muy contenta porque pude comprar un libro ilustrado por mi ilustrador favorito.

"Palimar" es una librería antigua ubicada en Parque Central, un poco cerca de mi casa. Es una lástima que no la haya descubierto antes ya que está llena de libros increibles los cuales he buscado en otras librerías y no había podido conseguir, sus precios son accesibles y aunque no pude comprar casi nada ya que fuí con poco presupuesto, estoy ansiosa de volver esta semana por unos libros que pedí me reservaran.
"Palimar" is an old bookstore located in Parque Central, a little near my house. It's a shame I didn't discover it sooner as it's full of incredible books which I've looked for in other bookstores and couldn't find, its prices are affordable and although I couldn't buy almost anything since I went on a low budget, I'm looking forward to Going back this week for some books I asked to hold.
Al llegar no pude evitar fotografiar las vidrieras de afuera, en especial dónde están los libros ilustrados por mi ilustrador francés favorito Benjamin Lacombe, también dentro tienen una pequeña vidriera aérea dónde exhiben clásicos de la literatura, de los cuales quise reservar 3, Drácula de Bram Stocker, Sentido y Sensibilidad de Jane Austen y El Libro de la Selva de Rudyard Kipling, aunque no podré llevar los 3 en una sola compra, espero llevarlos todos en 2 viajes jaja ya que no son los únicos que reservé.
When I arrived I couldn't help but photograph the windows outside, especially where the books illustrated by my favorite French illustrator Benjamin Lacombe are, they also have a small aerial window inside where they exhibit classics of literature, of which I wanted to reserve 3, Bram's Dracula Stocker, Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen and The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling, although I won't be able to take all 3 in one purchase, I hope to take them all in 2 trips haha since they are not the only ones I booked.
También quise fotografiar 2 hileras de libros los cuales llamaron mucho mi atención, una tiene novelas que me gustan mucho de Federico Moccia y Eduardo Punsent un diccionario italiano - español el cual mi papá me va a regalar ya que me servirá para cuando empiece mi curso de italiano, y más abajo ví otra hilera de libros biográficos, el cual me gustó mucho el de Jane Austen.
I also wanted to photograph 2 rows of books which caught my attention, one has novels that I really like by Federico Moccia and Eduardo Punsent, an Italian-Spanish dictionary which my dad is going to give me as it will be useful for when I start my English course. Italian, and further down I saw another row of biographical books, which I really liked the one about Jane Austen.
Entre tanta variedad de libros ilustrados que pude ver, hay 3 libros que me encantaron los cuales 2 de ellos me podré comprar y el otro no es tan accesible y me frustra un poco ya que es ilustrado por mi ilustrador favorito Benjamín Lacombe pero decidí ahorrar para ese y pedirlo por internet luego.

Este es uno de los libros ilustrados que compraré esta semana, "Las 12 Princesas Bailarinas" de Los Hermanos Grimm, el cual es muy hermoso y accesible. Siempre me han gustado los libros de la editorial Edelvives (no sólo los de Benjamín Lacombe sino todos los cuentos ilustrados) ya que no sólo las ilustraciones son hermosas, la calidad de empastado e impresión es impresionante. Estoy ansiosa por irlo a buscar.
This is one of the picture books that I will buy this week, "The 12 Dancing Princesses" by The Brothers Grimm, which is very beautiful and accessible. Y este es el otro libro que me compraré, uno de mis cuentos favoritos es "La Princesa y el Guisante" de Hans Christian Andersen así que se podrán imaginar mi felicidad al encontrarlo, pertenece a la misma colección de editorial edelvives y las ilustraciones como ven son increibles, estoy muy feliz de hacer crecer mi biblioteca próximamente con estos hermosos libros junto al de la biografía de Jane Austen y los clásicos.
And this is the other book that I will buy, one of my favorite stories is "The Princess and the Pea" by Hans Christian Andersen so you can imagine my happiness when I found it, it belongs to the same collection of edelvives editorial and the illustrations as you can see they are incredible, I am very happy to grow my library soon with these beautiful books along with the biography of Jane Austen and the classics.
Pensé que me iría con las manos vacías pero cuando me iba el vendedor de la tienda me enseñó este libro de Benjaín Lacombe llamado Cherry & Olive el cual aunque es en inglés (y por consiguiente más económico) no lo pensé 2 veces y lo compré ya que no sólo tiene ilustraciones muy hermosas, también la historia es muy bonita. Cómo ven, disfruto mucho visitar librerías nuevas las cuales para mí son como un pedacito de paraíso y seguir compartiendo hermosos tesoros que encuentro, estoy muy ansiosa porque próximamente visitaré la librería El Buscón la cual se encuentra en Las Mercedes y prometo también compartirla con ustedes.
I thought I would leave empty-handed but when I was leaving the store clerk showed me this book by Benjaín Lacombe called Cherry & Olive which although it is in English (and therefore cheaper) I did not think twice and bought it now which not only has very beautiful illustrations, but also the story is very beautiful. As you can see, I really enjoy visiting new bookstores which for me are like a little piece of paradise and continue sharing beautiful treasures that I find, I am very anxious because soon I will visit the El Buscón bookstore which is located in Las Mercedes and I promise to also share it with you.

What a wonderful book store. Anything with Edgar Allan Poe will catch me eye, but those picture books do look interesting too.
