This is a fantastic novel. Brown really needed to do his research because it's the details that count and people can easily looked them up to check them up. As you mentioned,

One thing I love most about this book is how Dan curved out the story and character of this book from themes like faith, religion, conspiracies, power, history, mythology, art and symbolism. He took his time and performed this task properly with factual detailed settings backing up the story.
