El día que termino una historia es un día muy importante en mi semana, esas últimas páginas las disfruto como nunca y detallo todo lo que puedo, para que siempre quede presente en mi mente. Y después de par de semanitas leyendo la saga ACOTAR "Una corte de rosas y espinas", de la talentosísima Sarah J. Mass. Debo decirles que estoy encantada, se ha convertido en una de mis sagas favoritas, los primeros libros son una obra de arte y ya ha llegado a su "final", aunque tengo entendido que aún faltan más por ser publicados, lo cual me consuela mucho.

I must tell you that I am delighted, it has become one of my favorite sagas, the first books are a work of art and it has already reached its "end", although I understand that there are still more to be published, which comforts me a lot.

En el tercer libro de esta saga, "Una corte de alas y furia", vivimos la guerra de Prythian contra el ejército del rey Hybern, donde salieron victoriosos aunque con heridas internas que pronto fueron sanando, digamos que fue un final feliz. Pero, la paz no duró demasiado en el mundo de los Faes. Al principio no nos presentan nada fuera de lo normal, solo la Corte Noche y su lucha constante con Nesta Archeron, la que, para mi mala suerte, es la protagonista de esta historia y es por ello que hoy, más que resumir, les diré mis opiniones muy honestas, más abajo.

Pero en principio, es como la transformación de Nesta, con ayuda de Cassian, nos presentan las condiciones que le ponen (vivir en la Casa del Viento, la de los 10mil escalones, sin vino, etc, o vivir en el mundo mortal por su cuenta), le toca trabajar en la biblioteca, entrenar, con el tiempo manejar sus poderes, y ella decide renacer las valquirias. En paralelo, se sabe que se revela una de las reinas humanas, la que fue convertida en inmortal, con ayuda de un tal koschei, (Un antiguo ser inmortal hermano de Striga y el tallador de huesos, dios de la muerte también). Se supone que deben buscar el tesoro del miedo, unos antiguos objetos formados por el caldero con un poder increíble, esto para evitar que la reina humana los posea y acabe con ellos.

In the third book of this saga, "A Court of Wings and Fury", we lived the Prythian war against King Hybern's army, where they were victorious although with internal wounds that were soon healing, let's say it was a happy ending. At the beginning we are not introduced to anything out of the ordinary, just the Night Court and their constant struggle with Nesta Archeron, the one who, to my bad luck, is the protagonist of this story and that is why today, rather than summarizing, I will tell you my very honest opinions, below.

But in principle, it is like the transformation of Nesta, with the help of Cassian, we are presented with the conditions that they put to her (live in the House of the Wind, the one of the 10mil steps, without wine, etc, or live in the mortal world on her own), she has to work in the library, train, eventually manage her powers, and she decides to reborn the Valkyries. In parallel, it is known that one of the human queens is revealed, the one who was turned immortal, with the help of a certain koschei, (An ancient immortal being brother of Striga and the bone carver, god of death as well). They are supposed to look for the treasure of fear, some ancient objects formed by the cauldron with incredible power, this to prevent the human queen from possessing them and ending them.

Bueno, debo mencionarles que este libro me costó DEMASIADO leerlo, en mayúsculas para que se note la intensidad. Leer a Nesta es muy pasado, no me gustó nada y muchas veces estuve tentado en dejarlo, pero sabía que lo que pasaba en este libro era canon y necesitaba saberlo. Nesta es un personaje insoportable, su historia se me hizo demasiado lenta, ella como tal fue demasiado cobarde y solo cambio al final, no le agarre nada de cariño. Opino que la mitad de su historia es un poco innecesaria, si la acortaban más se hacía un poco más fácil de leer y así meter más trama principal.

Y hablando de eso, no me gustó que el problema se resolvió solo porque Nesta se enojó y lanzo su poder, eso elimino a la reina y ya, realmente fue muy básico. Le dieron mucho poder que no vemos mucho y eso es como no tener nada si hablamos en idioma Fae. Lo que sí nos deja es un final abierto, porque se sabe que Koschei no fue ni enfrentado, así que el enemigo está ahí latente. Y con respecto a la pareja favorita de todos, Rhys y Feyre, vimos muy poquito de ellos, lo cual es lamentable, pero se disfruta al 100%, más aún con la llegada de su hijo Nox, un fresquito en esta historia tan pesada. Aunque, la intervención de Nesta cuando el bebé de Feyre iba a morir junto con ella y Rhys, fue bonita sí, pero no me conmovió nada jaj

Well, I should mention that this book was TOO hard for me to read, in capital letters to show the intensity. Reading Nesta is way over my head, I didn't like her at all and many times I was tempted to put it down, but I knew what was going on in this book was canon and I needed to know. Nesta is an unbearable character, her story was too slow for me, she as such was too cowardly and only changed at the end, I didn't like her at all. I think that half of her story is a bit unnecessary, if they shortened it more it would make it a bit easier to read and thus get more of the main plot in.

And speaking of that, I didn't like that the problem was solved just because Nesta got angry and launched her power, that eliminated the queen and that was it, it was really very basic. They gave her a lot of power that we don't see much of and that's like having nothing if we speak in Fae language. What it does leave us with is an open ending, because it is known that Koschei was not even confronted, so the enemy is there latent. And regarding everyone's favorite couple, Rhys and Feyre, we saw very little of them, which is unfortunate, but it is 100% enjoyable, even more with the arrival of their son Nox, a little fresh in this heavy story. Although, Nesta's intervention when Feyre's baby was going to die along with her and Rhys, was nice yes, but didn't move me at all haha.

De todos los libros de ACOTAR para mí, lamentablemente, este es el peor y cabe resaltar que desde hace tiempo no catalogaba a un libro como "el peor o malo". Creo que nos van a presentar historias de las demás parejas que van a conectar con la trama principal, esperemos que sea más de Rhys y Feyre, pero mi instinto dice que será sobre Elain Archeron. Aun con mis opiniones sobre este libro, sigo considerando que la saga ACOTAR es hermosa, no me arrepiento de haberla leído, hasta el final. Espero que les hayan gustado mis opiniones sobre este libro, nos leemos pronto!

Of all the ACOTAR books for me, sadly, this one is the worst and it's worth noting that I haven't categorized a book as "worst or bad" in a long time. I think we are going to be introduced to stories of the other couples that are going to connect to the main plot, hopefully it will be more of Rhys and Feyre, but my gut says it will be about Elain Archeron. Even with my opinions about this book, I still consider the ACOTAR saga to be beautiful, I don't regret reading it, until the end. I hope you liked my opinions about this book, see you soon!
