Dzisiaj przychodzę do Was z inną książką jej autorstwa a dokładniej ze Szklanym Tronem.
Today I come to you with another book by her, and more specifically with the Throne of Glass.
Miałam duże oczekiwania, bo jednak czytelnicy tej serii byli zachwyceni, a i ja po Dworach spodziewałam się czegoś lepszego albo równie dobrego :)
I had high expectations, because the readers of this series were delighted, and I expected something better or just as good as ACOTAR :)
Na początku nie rozumiałam, o co chodzi, ale to chyba jak w każdej nowej książce fantasy, bo jednak w nowy świat trzeba się wdrożyć.
At first I didn't understand what it was about, but it's probably like any new fantasy book, because you have to get into a new world.
Książka opowiada o młodej dziewczynie, która została skazana na pracę w kopalni soli w Endovier. Zabójczyni tam nie próżnowała i wykorzystywała od czasu do czasu umiejętności, które nabyła podczas swojej wcześniejszej nauki u Króla Zabójców. Pewnego dnia odwiedzają ją Dorian Havilliard - następca tronu i Chaol Westfall - Kapitan Straży Królewskiej, by złożyć jej propozycję uczestnictwa w turnieju na Obrońcę Króla i późniejsze lata służby na tym stanowisku w zamian za upragnioną wolność.
Caelena, czyli główna bohaterka przyjmuje propozycje i wyrusza do Szklanego Zamku w Rifchold. W turnieju musi pokonać swoich przeciwników, ale czy wszyscy grają fair play?
The book is about a young girl who was sentenced to work in the Endovier salt mine. The assassin was not idle there, and from time to time she used the skills she had acquired during her earlier studies with the Assassin King. One day she is visited by Dorian Havilliard - heir to the throne and Chaol Westfall - Captain of the Royal Guard, to make her a proposal to participate in the tournament for the Protector of the King and the subsequent years of service in this position in exchange for the desired freedom.
Caelena, the main character, accepts the offer and goes to the Glass Castle in Rifchold. She has to beat her opponents in the tournament, but are they all playing fair?
Uwielbiam to, że autorka potrafi w taki sposób wdrożyć w ten magiczny świat, że chce się więcej i kompletnie nie czuć nudy.
I love that the author is able to implement this magical world in such a way that you want more and do not feel bored at all.
Akcja jest naprawdę fajna, choć niekoniecznie podbiła moje serce. Co innego wątek romansu - Sarah J.Maas potrafi naprawdę stworzyć romantyczne relacje, które swoją prostotą podbijają serca :D
The action is really fun, although it didn't necessarily win my heart. The plot of the romance is different - Sarah J. Maas can really create romantic relationships that conquer hearts with their simplicity :D
Książka została wypożyczona w bibliotece, ale ostro zastanawiam się nad kupnem całej serii, aby stała na mojej półce :P Czekam tylko na dobrą okazję :D
The book was borrowed from the library, but I am thinking hard about buying the whole series so that it will stand on my shelf :P I'm just waiting for a good opportunity :D

Książki tej autorki mam jeszcze przed sobą. Zapewne je kiedyś przeczytam, jak uporam się z aktualnym stosem hańby 😁
Ja próbuję się już odgrzebać od stycznia, no ale cóż poradzić, kiedy jest tyle świetnych książek teraz :D
