Ahhhhhhh the Battle of Labyrinth! This one is definitely my favorite book in the PJO series. Also, this is the first PJO book I read—out of curiosity—and then I fell in love with the characters and the lore, which is why I somehow ended up a PJO series fanatic way back then. I even read the sequel after PJO, which was the crossover of Greek and Roman Mythology ;)... reading this review made me reminisce about those days.
Have you read the new sequel of PJO? The one where the senior high school Percy does errands for the Gods to earn the college recommendations he needs for him to enter New Rome University? It's also exciting, tho of 'course, the PJO and Heroes of Olympus series are definitely on different levels, but still it made the PJO fangirl in me giddy.
Btw, thanks for sharing... It's been a long time since I encountered someone who's into PJO, and it really made me happy ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ
Hi @ridgette, what a joy to read your words and know that we share a fondness for this wonderful saga. In my case, I saw the first movie (the Lightning Thief) and I liked it and wanted to know more hahahaha. Accidentally fell into my hands the first two books and wooo the reading was much better hahahahaha. Then it was getting the other volumes.
I haven't had the chance to read the Heroes of Olympus one, I have yet to look for them. Neither has the sequel, so I'm putting it on the list, thanks so much for the recommendation.
Thanks for the visit
A hug!!!!
I also watched it before, although it is after I read the PJO...and I do hope you'll try the Heroes of Olympus because it's also a wonderful series. I don't know what's with me because it's always the 4th book that gets me hooked. The senior high school sequel has only two books so far, and if Rick Riordan follows the interval of his first two books, I guess that this September another book will be published...you can still catch up to it!
You're welcome~ And sending hugs as well :)
