book

Samantha is a young London lawyer busy with her career and with very little time for anything else. Just as she is about to be appointed partner of the law firm where she works, she realizes that she has made a sensational mistake that will cost her her job. Distraught, she runs away and gets on the first available train. Arriving in a village in the English countryside, she is mistakenly mistaken for a maid and is hired by an eccentric family: it is the beginning of a radical change in her life.
It's been a while since I read a book by this author: I found it a bit far-fetched but overall likeable and enjoyable like all her writings. The message it leaves is important, namely that it is never too late to change and do what makes us feel fulfilled.
Who among you has read it?
