Book review: The seven Year Slip (ESP/ENG)

¡Hola, amigos de esta comunidad! Hoy les quiero hacer mi primera reseña acerca del último libro que me leí hace aproximadamente una semana, que fue the Seven year slip.

Había estado algunos días sin leer por estar ocupada con otras cosas, por lo que creí que me iba a costar un poco retomar la lectura, pero el libro me agradó tanto que lo terminé leyendo en tan solo un día.

El libro trata acerca de nuestra protagonista Clementine la cual se siente un poco pérdida debido a que sufrió recientemente la pérdida de su tía la cual era muy cercana hacia ella, Clementine se muda al apartamento que le dejó su tía sin saber que en este había magia, ya que a veces cuando pasaba por la puerta principal viajaba 7 años atrás en el tiempo donde conocería al protagonista llamado Iwan.

Hello, friends of this community! Today I want to give you my first review about the last book I read about a week ago, which was the Seven year slip.

I had been a few days without reading because I was busy with other things, so I thought it was going to take me a while to get back to reading, but I liked the book so much that I finished reading it in just one day.

The book is about our main character Clementine who feels a little lost because she recently suffered the loss of her aunt who was very close to her, Clementine moves to the apartment that her aunt left her without knowing that there was magic in it, because sometimes when she went through the front door she traveled 7 years back in time where she would meet the main character named Iwan.

Siento que leí el libro tan rápido debido a que me atrapó al instante el hecho de cómo la protagonista descubre que lo que le decía a su tía acerca de ese apartamento era realidad de que de verdad tenía magia y podía viajar siete años hacia el pasado también el cómo se conocieron los protagonistas y cómo se fueron conociendo poco a poco, porque no es una manera muy común o algo que haya leído anteriormente sumando la manera en la que está escrita el libro que me parece muy bonita

Esto me parece un aspecto muy relevante que tengo que contar debido a que he leído libros que me han cansado no por la trama o los protagonistas sino porque la manera en la que está escrita me parece repetitiva y un poco cansada de leer o a veces incluso muy extensa donde valga la redundancia se extienden mucho explicando algo lo que me cansa un poco y hace que me vaya alejando del libro y lo lea un poco más lento. Esto definitivamente no pasó con the Seven year slip el cual me tuvo en bastante atención por saber qué iba a pasar al final, Como la protagonista iba a conocer a iwan, pero en su presente y que pensamientos tenía él al haber conocido a Clementine hace 7 años, pero que ella apenas la estuviera conociendo a él.

I feel that I read the book so fast because I was instantly caught by the fact of how the main character discovers that what she told her aunt about that apartment was true, that she really had magic and could travel seven years into the past, also how the main characters met and how they got to know each other little by little, because it is not a very common way or something I have read before and the way in which the book is written seems very beautiful to me.

This seems to me a very relevant aspect that I have to tell because I have read books that have tired me not because of the plot or the main characters but because the way it is written seems repetitive and a little tiring to read or sometimes even very long where they extend a lot explaining something which makes me a little tired and makes me go away from the book and read it a little slower. This definitely didn't happen with the Seven year slip which kept my attention for knowing what was going to happen at the end, how the main character was going to meet Iwan, but in her present and what thoughts he had about meeting Clementine 7 years ago, but she was just getting to know him.

Me parece una historia muy bonita y bastante cómoda de leer un libro algo corto, pero que sin duda se convirtió en uno de mis libros favoritos, el desarrollo de personaje que tuvo acerca de la pérdida de su tía Analea, Clementine me pareció muy significativo, ya que sé lo que es perder un ser muy cercano Y cómo avanza en la vida desde mudarse al apartamento que le dejó hasta el final irse de él porque sabe que tiene que cerrar etapas, o cómo fue descubriendo cosas que su tía no le contó y la razón de Por qué no lo hizo simplemente me llegaba hasta el corazón

Un libro que sin duda volvería a leer o lo recomendaría para pasar un buen rato leyendo y de paso amar a un montón al protagonista cocinero Iwan porque su manera de expresarse acerca de la comida y decir que todos tenemos esa comida que simplemente sentimos como nuestro hogar o que nos recuerda a nuestro hogar es una forma muy bonita de pensar.

A book that I would definitely read again or recommend it to have a good time reading AND love the main character cook Iwan a lot because his way of expressing himself about food and saying that we all have that food that just feels like home or reminds us of home is a very nice way of thinking.
