How Landlords and Banks Take from Workers to Make Themselves Rich and Killing the Economy.

As Big landlords and banks tighten their grip, the real economy suffocates - and workers bear the cost. Illustration by the Author

Landlords and bankers are quietly strangling the real economy. Big landlords and private equity firms are buying up rental properties, driving up rents, and forcing people to spend more of their income just to have a roof over their heads. Instead of creating anything new, they profit from owning what already exists, displacing tenants and squeezing communities .

Banks and financial institutions do the same thing, they prioritize profits from loans, trading, and speculation instead of funding real businesses. Money flows through complicated networks that mostly help the financial sector while workers and small businesses struggles to get funding. May skilled people end up in finance instead of industries that actually make things and contribute to society.

The result is a real economy starved of money, creativity, and opportunity. Most people’s wages go to rent or end up in financial market, while a small elite grows richer without doing real work.

This system doesn’t just make life harder for workers; it focuses on taking wealth instead of creating it, leaving everyone else to struggle.
