Greetings to the #plantpowervegan community, the invitation you make by planning #januaryinleo with a recipe where you use red apples.
Excellent start to the week for everyone wherever you are.
Ready to start sharing the process of this delicious dessert based on red apples.
This dessert is made in two phases which I detail below.
2 manzanas grandes rojas
2 large red apples
Para la base:
1 1/2 taza de avena en hojuelas
1/2 taza de harina de avena
1/3 de taza de aceite
1/2 cucharadita de canela
1/3 de taza de agua caliente
2 cucharadas de azúcar
For the base:
1 1/2 cup flaked oatmeal
1/2 cup oat flour
1/3 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup hot water
2 tablespoons sugar
In a container of your choice, combine the oat flakes, oat flour, oil, sugar and finally the hot water.
Combine all the ingredients to make a uniform paste, as shown in the picture. Compact it so that it does not dry out and cover it for 10 minutes with a cloth.
After 10 minutes, take a container that you decide to take to the oven, prepared with oil on the bottom and sides. With the help of a trowel or with your hands soaked with water, press and stretch all over the container until the dough covers it.
Cover with plastic wrap to prevent the dough from drying out while the next step is being carried out.
Aquì entra en juego una de las manzanas.
Here comes into play one of the apples.
Para el relleno:
1 manzana pelada y cortada
2 tazas de agua temperatura ambiente
4 cucharadas de fécula de maíz
3 cucharadas de azúcar
1 cucharada de vainilla (opcional)
For the filling:
1 apple, peeled and sliced
2 cups of water at room temperature
4 tablespoons corn starch
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla (optional)
Se licúa a velocidad alta por 1 1/2 minutos
All these ingredients are taken to the blender, one by one to be integrated.
Blend at high speed for 1 1/2 minutes.
Cuando la mezcla toma cuerpo, se apaga y se deja reposar.
Once all the ingredients for the filling are blended, put a little oil at the bottom of the pot to be used for cooking (this is to prevent the mixture from sticking).
When the mixture takes body, turn it off and let it rest.
The second apple, washed very well, is cut into thin slices, as thin as possible.
Once the mixture is ready, the container with the prepared dough is added to the apple mixture, as shown in the picture.
Then, place the slices distributed throughout the mixture, as you like, the idea is to give a nice presentation. When it is ready, put it in the oven for 25 minutes to bake the dough (remember that all ovens are different and everyone knows their own).
After 25 minutes, I left 5 more minutes so that the base would be crispy. Ready out of the oven. Let it rest so that the mixture cools down, this way it is easier to cut a slice and take it out without crumbling.
En esta imagen se muestra la base de avena, quedó crujiente.
In this picture you can see the oat base, it is crunchy.
The next picture shows that it did not crumble and is ready to eat.
This recipe can also be made with pears if it is easier to obtain them.
It is very tasty, different from other types of desserts, the sweetness that is used is very little to be felt.
