Community Rules Reminder

This post has a bittersweet taste, since we generally do not like to call attention to matters that we consider to be more than clear; but sometimes it is necessary to reiterate certain issues and one of these refers to the COMMUNITY RULES.

The Plant Power (Vegan) community has been characterized, since its creation, by an atmosphere of good vibes, as we have always tried to value the work of our users and also to experience a climate of love, peace and respect; and community rules are basic elements for this to happen. Similarly, we strive to achieve and maintain this harmony, doing (within our possibilities), a constant job of moderation and guidance. Another way to achieve this is through the recognitions and incentives that we offer week after week to our dear users, to our vegan family; however, situations may arise that require hivers to be reminded of the community rules and, unfortunately, in recent days five specific situations have arisen that lead us to make this reminder.

• 1) Original content only. Plagiarized content muted and downvoted without warming. This rule is basic for any Hive community, since in this blockchain it is intended that the shared content be original, authentic, that it is not stolen, that it is not plagiarized; and this applies to content and images or photographs. We also do not allow the use of images that are free of copyright, here all content published must be original. Plagiarism implies that the user is permanently silenced in this community and is reported to the Hive Watchers..

• 2) No repost, no old content, no farming. Another basic rule for any Hive community, since it is not allowed to continue monetizing with old content. We also do not allow the operation in our community of multiple accounts of the same user. We are well aware that there are family nuclei that live at Plant Power Vegan, and when we detect this situation we request that users appear preparing their recipes. On the other hand, in the past we detected certain users (who were permanently silenced), they brought content published in other gastronomic communities, and this is a practice it may work for these users for a while, but when detected they are permanently silenced and reported to the Hive Watchers.

• 3) No cross post. This feature is not allowed in this community. If the user has published in another community, it is content that belongs to that other niche, not this one. And although we as a community have cross-posted on very few occasions (two or three times), it is because we offer very important information to users.

• 4) Vegan content only. Non-vegan content will be muted. Plant Power (Vegan) is a vegan community, it is not vegetarian, for this reason we invite you to document yourself regarding veganism and you will be able to see that no ingredient of animal origin is allowed in the recipes, and this includes milk, condensed milk, eggs, honey, butter, etc.

• Community rules five and six: 5) This is a gastronomic community, please NO TEAS, NO NATURAL MEDICINE. 6) No drinks, juices, smoothies, etc. Please bring this content to the friendly community Amazing Drinks These two rules are linked to each other. Previously, Plant Power Vegan allowed the publication of beverages, such as vegetable milks and juices. It was the case that members of the vegan team previously posted drink recipes; but due to the existence of this particular content, the Amazing Drinks community was created, in which all drinks are admitted, whether vegan or non-vegan. It is necessary to point out that it is an argument without basis, to say that vegetable milk is for use in other recipes, since it is still a drink; so we invite you to publish such content in this friendly community:

• 7) Engage with others. This is also a very important rule, since we are a community, and one of the ways to get to know each other and build a community is by visiting, voting and commenting on the posts of our other colleagues. This simple and loving gesture strengthens the bonds between members of the vegan family.

• 8) Be kind. This is a rule that would be ideal to apply in all areas of our lives, because just as you give love and kindness, you will receive the same from others; but it also applies to the type of content that is published on Plant Power (Vegan). That is why one of our rules is that you be kind in your comments, and that you also refrain from posting content that generates debate and controversy. We believe that there are spaces for this type of content and this is not the place for it.
