A Nutritious Meal-Moringa Potato Curry!

Hello 👋 hiveans. I hope all are in good health.

Have anyone tasted Drumstick(Moringa)? It is also know as Sahjan ki Phali in Hindi. This Drumsticks are usually used in South Indian recipes like Sambhar. Drumsticks are long green colored sticks. They are very healthy and Nutritious.
In south India the Drumstick are widely used in every household.

Today I am sharing Drumstick curry with Potato.
It is very simple curry without onions and garlic. One can make this curry in 10 to 15 mins. This is one pot curry. So I am using pressure cooker for this, if you want you can cook this curry in pan too.


So lets see how to make the Curry.

INGREDIENTS

drumsticks-1 cup.
Potato-1cup
Oil-1tbspn
Cumin seeds-½tspn
Mustard seeds-½tspn
Turmeric powder-½tspn
Redchili powder-½tspn
Salt-to taste.
Asofedita-½tspn
Garam masala-½tspn
Water-1 cup


METHOD

1.Cut Drumstick in long shape as shown.

2.chop potatoes.

3.now heat oil in pressure cooker.

4.add cumin seeds ans mustard seeds.

5.add asofedita.

6.now add drumsticks and potato.

7.add turmeric powder

8.further add redchili powder and salt.

9.now mix all the ingredients properly.

10.add water.

11.add chopped tomatoes 🍅.

12.cover the pressure cooker wuth the lid. Let one and half whistle come and off the flame because the drumsticks will cooked soon. So we have to chop the potatoes in small size. So they can be cooked easily.

13.off the flame and open the lid.

14.stir it once and add garam masala.

15.Transfer the curry in a bowl and serve it with Garam garam hot Rotis and Rice.

The taste of this curry is very yummy the flavour of drumstick will come in potatoes and it is very tasty curry. Serve the Drumstick potato curry with Hot Rice and Chapati/roti.

Yum! We love moringa in curries, soups, smoothies, mash potatoes, .... So good and so nutrious. We just recently moved house and missing the moringa tree. We just planted some seeds in the new house. Luckily it's a fast growing trees. Have a beautiful day.
