Oatmeal Corn Porridge for Breakfast


Breakfast provides energy for our body, after our stomach is empty all night, therefore breakfast is very important for our body's health.

The bright morning sun began to shine into my room, my stomach felt very hungry, I saw in the refrigerator there was no food that could be eaten directly, there were only leftovers of food ingredients, because I had not done my weekly shopping. Yes, my focus was on a sweet corn, a little bit of outmel left in the refrigerator and also brown sugar, if brown sugar is always in stock in my refrigerator, I took all of these ingredients and I will process it into sweet corn out porridge.This is also my first time making this porridge myself. I remember very well that when I was little, my mother cooked different kinds of porridge every morning and one of them was this porridge, bunir outmel with sweet corn, my favorite.

Maybe there are some people who are used to not having breakfast, but for me breakfast is very important for the body, after a night without any food entering our stomachs, so it would be good for us to always have breakfast, friends. Moreover, I am the type of person who can't if I don't have breakfast, my stomach immediately hurts, so every time I wake up in the morning I always take the time to make my own breakfast at home, oh yes, I only made this breakfast for one person, because I happened to be alone at home, while my mother and child were going to my relative's house in the village, while my husband was at a work event out of town, so rather than being curious, let me share the recipe with all of you


Ingredients

100 grams of oatmeal
1 sweet corn
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 long glass of water


Manufacturing procedure


  • First, grate the corn until it is finished, then heat 1 glass of water in a pan, then add the corn that has been grated.

  • After the corn is half cooked, add the brown sugar to the pan and cook until the sugar dissolvers,Also add one pandan leaf

  • Then add the oatmeal, don't forget to stir, the oatmeal doesn't need to be cooked for long, just cook for about 2 minutes, once it's cooked, turn off the stove and the porridge is ready to be served.

I am very happy that finally the sweet corn outmel porridge is ready and can be eaten immediately as my breakfast this morning, the sweet taste combined with the sweet bite of corn and combined with the soft outmel makes my tongue want to eat it all up without a trace.Yes, I think this porridge is really suitable to eat on an empty stomach to increase energy in the morning. If you like it sweeter, you can also add condensed milk. I don't like it too sweet. I get enough sweetness from palm sugar, and even that is very sweet in my opinion.
