Simple Balinese Orange Salad

This grapefruit was a gift from my neighbor who happened to have a tree in his neighbor's house that had quite a lot of fruit and was very plentiful, so almost every day we were given grapefruit, because my neighbor was not stingy at all, he often shared his grapefruit with his neighbors and relatives, usually I just eat grapefruit, but this time I really wanted to make rujak from grapefruit which the ingredients were very easy, I just used the ingredients that were at home.


Materials used

1 grapefruit (not all used)
1 tbsp palm sugar
2 tbsp granulated sugar
4 cayenne peppers
A pinch of salt


Manufacturing procedure


First


Remove all the skin from the grapefruit, including the white inner skin.And then take the flesh of the fruit

Second


Grind all the spices using a wooden pestle, you can use any pestle as long as it is smooth, but I don't grind it too smooth, I just grind it roughly, because I think it's already very tasty like this.

Third


Take the grapefruit and put it into the coarsely ground spices, stir until all the spices are mixed.

RESULTS


Taraa.. my homemade grapefruit rujak is ready to eat, and I serve it on a serving plate so it looks good hehhe

What do you think, it's very easy, isn't it? After I ate it, it turned out to be really spicy, it was also sweet and a little sour because I added Javanese sugar. It was just like the taste of rujak that I wanted. I really want to make it again in the future if my neighbors give me more grapefruit.I enjoyed this grapefruit rujak alone because it was so spicy that my mother couldn't eat it for fear of getting a stomach ache, it's understandable, because she's a parent, she can't eat spicy food.

Basically, grapefruit made into rujak like this is really delicious in my opinion, and for those of you who have grapefruit at home, immediately make rujak like this, besides being eaten directly, it is also very delicious to eat made into rujak, for those who don't really like spicy food, you can reduce the chili, just adjust the amount of seasoning according to your taste, guys.
