Trying a New Recipe: Fried Banana with Mango Sauce

Hello Vegan Lovers, today I will make a new menu, I have never made this menu before and I don't know whether this recipe will work or not. I like to be creative with new recipes, because my three boys are still growing and they love to enjoy various dishes, especially snacks. The new menu I'm going to make today is a simple menu and I hope the kids will like it. Today I will make a snack in the form of fried bananas and I will add mango sauce as a topping.

Bananas that are old and yellow when fried have a sweet, savory and crunchy taste. I think this will taste more delicious if I combine it with mango sauce. Coincidentally today my uncle gave me some ripe mangoes. The mango that my uncle gave me was a prawn mango. This mango has a small fruit shape with a sweet and slightly sour taste. The combination of sweet and sour mango sauce will make the sweet fried banana taste richer.

Ingredients

20 ripe bananas
3 yellow prawn mangoes

2.Add water little by little while stirring, so that it forms a slightly thick dough. If the dough is too runny, you can add more rice flour.

3.Peel the skin of the bananas, I use bunches of lele tandan bananas. This banana is a type of banana that is commonly used for fried bananas.

4.After the bananas are golden brown, turn off the stove, remove the bananas and drain the cooking oil.

Next I will make the mango sauce, because the taste of the mango is slightly sour, I will add a little sugar. But if friends use the sweet type of mango, then there is no need to add sugar. How to make the mango sauce, namely :

1.Peel the skin of the mango, then wash the mango to remove the sap.

IMG20230511182928.jpg

2.Just take the flesh part of the fruit, we don't use the seeds to make the sauce.

IMG20230511183147.jpg

3.Put the mango flesh in the blender.

IMG20230511183241.jpg

4.Add sugar to the blender.

5.Blend until all the ingredients are well mixed.

Now I have sweet and fresh mango sauce.

IMG20230511183632.jpg

Serving method

We can mix the mango sauce with the fried bananas or dip the fried bananas into the mango sauce.

The result

A portion of a delicious and healthy snack menu is ready to be served. This is one simple menu but rich in taste. Of course this is an easy menu to make.
