This is an opinion post, about how I feel about this new community.

Cryptocurrency is complicated

I joined this new community called Bitcoinforbeginners, which I think should be spelled Bitcoin4beginners, just a suggestion, and I like it because cryptocurrency is complicated, and many of us have a desire to understand it better, but the terminology makes it difficult.

It seems that the longer people study a subject, the more their vocabulary changes, and it becomes, I think, more diffiuclt for them to explain things to peole outside their community, because they start to explain everything in terms of the new vocabulary they have learned.

But for people outside the community, who have not yet integrated this new terminology into our vocabulary, we need more common and familiar terms to explain things. It's not that we are stupid or uneducated, it because you literally are speaking another language, so we don't understand you.

I have high hopes for this new community to be easier to understand, because the first couple articles took extra care to use non-technical language and where there was technical language they provided definitions, and buikt on those definitions, so it was a cool learning experience. After reading the articles I felt smarter, not dumber, and that's a rare good feeling when your learning about cryptocurrency.

So keep up the good work.
