They are not branded but they all have tennis shoes

Shopping is not always an easy task. Sometimes you spend on expensive and branded footwear and you don't like it. That's why I preferred cheap tennis shoes for everyone.

Hello friends of Hive Collectors, following with the theme: “Shoes”, proposed by @mipiano for this month of May, I will tell you a story related to the purchase of tennis shoes.

At home we are 5 people, and together with the girlfriends of my two sons, we are 7 souls who daily wear the soles of their shoes with their daily walk.

Most people crave something when they know about it or know of its existence. Either by the influence of their closest friends, or by the information they can read on the internet.

Many young people already talk to you about well-known and historic footwear brands, such as Puma, Adidas, Nike, Reebok, among others.
In my country, and in my personal case, to buy a single pair of these brands is to deal with two realities: to save all my salary of 6 months of professional work as a doctor, and to be able to buy a single pair.
On the other hand, to see that where you buy them, they sell you an original shoe and not a lower quality copy, that when you wear them a few times or when a light rain falls on them, they break like wet paper.

The two extremes are always worrying, and it is like playing Russian roulette. That is why, when a tourist agreement was opened between Cuba and Venezuela, specifically to Isla de Margarita, I was able to travel with my son Andres, and spend a nice week, getting to know this beautiful place where you can feel the sun, with beautiful beaches and where the warmth of its people is manifest.

Visiting the main shopping malls, my son could see with his eyes, that good brand shoes, still had a value commensurate with their quality. He realized that it was not only in Cuba their high price, and that if we wanted to buy tennis shoes for everyone at home, including his girlfriends, we had to look for other options.

It was then that we went to Boulevard Guevara, a busy place with many stores, with more affordable prices.
There were so many shoe stores that it was difficult to choose. But thanks to the help of the assigned tour guide, we were able to find the ideal store: a gratifying personalized attention we received with a great variety of products.

I decided to buy 12 pairs of tennis shoes, negotiating the price in the store. I chose them from various designs, colors and sizes; that way when we arrived in Cuba, everyone could choose the ones they wanted to wear.

Now I share with you some photos of the new tennis shoes that are still at home.

We were not alone in the store, it was a group of Cubans wandering from store to store, sharing the same legendary hotel Venetur, with that beautiful view of the sea, and that bluff that rises in the distance like a sentinel embraced by the sea.

The owner of the store was overflowing with joy. Cubans came in like a swarm of bees, and bought many of his products.
We left all that bundle of tennis shoes in that place, and went to another store to buy some big nylon bags, to be able to transport all that amount of footwear.

When we all left with those bags in our hands, the locals smiled and looked at us, as if we were an invasive species that came and ravaged.

For the businessmen, Cubans are their best customers, they are the ones who buy in bulk every month. So everyone was happy.

When we returned home, everyone was happy with their cheap tennis shoes. They know they are not brand name shoes, but they were bought with a lot of love.

Each one was able to receive as a gift two pairs of comfortable tennis shoes for their feet, which will serve them to walk around Havana, for as long as they can last functional.

Thanks to those who read me. Greetings to all.

The only brand I like is Reebok, they are the only ones that don't hurt my feet, I've tried all the ones I've tried and they are the only ones that work for me, unfortunate because I have to sell a kidney to buy them haha but everything is for the comfort of my feet 😂

Very nice these sneakers, they are striking! ❤️

Buhito should always take care of its feet. Whether it is with Reebok or another brand that is comfortable for him. These allow him to move around in his everyday environment. Thanks for commenting.
