CBRS Podcast 17

Welcome back to another exciting episode of the podcast with @Artakush and @Minigunner! Episode 17 marks a milestone with upgraded equipment, enhanced discussions, and a glimpse into the future of @cryptocurrency adoption. Let's dive into everything that was covered in this engaging conversation.

Studio Upgrades and New Equipment

The #podcast kicked off with an enthusiastic discussion about the new and improved CBS Studio setup. The team has upgraded their recording #equipment, including brand-new Zoom ZDM-1 microphones. These high-quality microphones were a budget-friendly investment at 99 Euro each, delivering excellent sound clarity. The addition of softbox lighting enhances the visual appeal, making this episode the first with an upgraded #setup. The hosts expressed their excitement about testing the new equipment and the overall improvement in audio and video quality.

Infographics Contest and Community Engagement

A significant highlight was the recent completion of @thedistriator infographics contest, which ended on February 6th. The winner, @danielvehe , was praised for his outstanding work, receiving widespread approval from the community. The contest wasn’t just about winning a prize—it was an opportunity to boost creativity and engage the #community. A total of 68 different #infographics were produced, all of which are now available for public use to promote #Distriator and its #Hive. The hosts emphasized how such contests help build stronger community involvement and provide valuable marketing materials for #blockchain initiatives.

The podcast also teased future plans for more contests, hinting that this is just the beginning of a much larger project. The community is advised to stay tuned as new developments unfold.

Gaming Talk: Moon Karts and Splinterlands

The hosts delved into the world of blockchain #gaming, particularly discussing #MoonKarts, an exciting game that they feel more people should explore. They highlighted how @arcadecolony is successfully integrating multiple small games into a single, engaging ecosystem.

A significant portion of the discussion was dedicated to @Splinterlands, where the hosts clarified a mix-up regarding the game’s modes they talked in previous episode. They had previously mentioned “adventure mode” but meant “survival mode.” Sorry @dejota for making you spill that coffee 😁 This mode is currently in the testing phase, and only certain users, such as Monster Mavericks and Art Collectors, can participate. Unfortunately, the hosts were not included in the first wave of testers, but they remain optimistic about future access.

Hive-Echo and the Evolution of Content Creation

@Hive-Echo continues to be a vital initiative, providing #rewards for video content. Last week alone, 55 Hive and 16 HBD were distributed to participants by @commentrewarder. The hosts discussed how easy it is to create a YouTube or TikTok channel and start earning from content creation. Hive-Echo now offers a 50 Hive prize for those posting statistics in the comments. May the best statistics win 😉

Exploring Crypto Adoption in Real-Life Businesses

A key topic was the real-world adoption of #BTC. The hosts discovered an online map that highlights businesses accepting #Bitcoin, including several spots in The Hague. Excited by this discovery, they shared plans to visit these businesses soon. One notable location is a #skateboard shop, where they plan to explore the possibility of onboarding the shop to #Distriator and introducing them to the @skatehive Community. This initiative could bring more users to the SkateHive Community, encouraging skaters to post their skate-related content on Hive. By doing so, they can earn Hive tokens and then use those earnings to purchase items directly from the shop, effectively creating a cycle of engagement and reward within the community.

Future Plans and Closing Thoughts

As they wrapped up the episode, the hosts reflected on their excitement for the future. They plan to continue exploring local businesses that accept #crypto, sharing their experiences in upcoming podcasts. There's also a focus on onboarding more businesses to platforms like Distriator, expanding the SkateHive Community, and promoting broader adoption of blockchain technology.

In addition, the hosts aim to refine their podcast setup further, experimenting with lighting and room configurations to create a more engaging visual experience. They also teased the possibility of more guest appearances and deeper dives into blockchain #gaming and content creation opportunities.

With their signature energy and enthusiasm, Artakush and Minigunner promised more insightful discussions and exciting updates in future episodes, keeping the momentum alive as they navigate the evolving world of crypto and blockchain.

Stay tuned for the next episode—the journey into crypto adoption, gaming, and content creation is just getting started!

You guys look and sound like a million bucks! congratulations!

Just tweak your noise gate a little bit so the threshold is a bit higher because it's cutting out some words when your voice is low, especially for @artakush. Also move closer to the mic.

Love the show!

I am still finding gliches in our audio, so we will have to do some ajustments.

the audio is much better but there were some weird stuff going on.

Yeah we need to ajust it and speak directly into the mic :D

Aaaah, there you go. You solved it 😁

Congrats, good mike! It's surprisingly good voice from here. On Friday, I first recorded a live event with my Zoom AM7 for smartphone, which will be out soon 😎.

The microphones are not too bad. Still having some glitches here and there, I think we need to really speak in to the microphone directly or else it will use some sort of noise canceleation. Well, tag us so we can check out the quality ;)

I will, for sure. But as I said, from my point of hearing :) The voice (near the mic) is perfect.

Nice 😁 well then, 200 euro very well spent 😬

Great setup, guys! The sound is clear. You have to fine-tweak your mics, as they cut a lot, especially Artakush. All in all, the studio is getting prettier and prettier...
It's great that you have a heavy focus on all promotional tools on HIVE and talking about them is important as many people aren't informed about them!

Thanks, guys for all your hard work!

PS. Do not keep those windows open too long... Your mics could hit and run... 😂

Hey 😉 First of all thank you for checking out our podcast. Yeah, more Hivians told us to tweak our microphones and that will be done next time we record our podcast. We always promote Hive, no matter where we are and Hive merch makes the studio look good 😁

We will hide the equipment so no one can rob the studio 😁

A very entertaining podcast, thanks guys.
