When pollution looks artistic

I loved the latest issue of National Geographic magazine. Nr. 207, the july issue, covered a vast array of topics. I loved the quality of the photos in this one.

There is a place here in my country Romania known as Geamana. It is highly polluted. I was astonished by a set of pictures made by a romanian photographer during all 4 seasons. The images are of pure beauty. Although the lake is filled with chemicals, I could not cease to be amazed by the abstract shapes and wonderful colours of the lake. The pictures were taken with a drone and the view is splendid. The consequences of human's pollution take the form of an abstract gallery. Simply amazing!

I also enjoyed the articles about the mistery dissapearing of Sandy Irvine and George Mallory in their mission to reach Everest. Did they actually manage to climb it first, 29 years before Edmund and Tenzing? A National Geographic team starts a quest in order to find the truth. Truly intriguing!

Last but not least I loved the skateboard article. What a culture! I adored the vibe of this sport and I enjoyed reading the stories of some youngsters who slept in their cars just to raise enough money to pursue their dreams! That's the spirit! If you have a dream, a worthy goal, a passion, something beautiful to show to the world, let no one stop you! Dream until your dream comes true!

You can also find in this issue rare images with the snow leopard who is quite an amazing animal! You wouldn't believe how interesting this feline is!

I have made a 1hr and 20 min long review of the NG magazine and the video is available on my Youtube and Twitch channel.

I made this special short video just for Hive and @threespeak community, in order to have a better shorter version which could entice people to follow the whole review video.

Have a lovely day and toodle loo!
