Consistency is the key and actually the only thing that matters over a longer period. But it's hard, and not many people are willing to put in the work while things are bad. We got used to the idea of making easy money and unfortunately, that's not sustainable thinking LOL.
Regarding financial DAO, that would be an amazing thing if set up properly. Unlike 99% of DAOs that are purely used to avoid any responsibility because de facto they're not legal entities.
Startup funding DAO might be the real deal.
We had so many ideas to build on top of HIVE, the problem is that developers are way too expensive for us to bear the funds. So fuck it, we decided to learn to code ourselves because the opportunity cost for not learning it became huge.
We literally made a 10-page long document on what features we would implement, wrapped up into a brilliant tokenomics system, but as already mentioned these things are expensive.
Moving forward we even thought of trying to connect to VCs but given that none of us had any prior experience it's practically impossible to get their attention - which is fine because we're talking real money here. On the other hand, we'd like to build a sustainable business operated and governed by the community, but the problem is that VCs don't give a shit about how we plan to improve the landscape, they only care about the money.
Passion for Hive is a great thing to have. Is it natural or nurtured?
Either way, there is a group of dedicated people who are living the ride or die motto. Community is powerful and what Hive lacks in numbers it makes up for in passion.
Natural.
There are some who sees the freedom to be whatever associated with Hive. These people value freedom. And eventually everyone will realise that they value freedom.
And Hive is for them. Suddenly.
It scares me a little when Dan spoke about Hive’s possibility to be anything. It brings to mind that government and existing businesses may find Hive a threat, and might want to attack it. The way disruptions are dealt with.
We probably need to build up more dedicated users as a defence to these threats before its too late.

I don't know you, but multitasking is can of good because it will open you to different knowledge, and know a lot of things, but real and quality information or ideas comes from doing a particular thing, going through it front and back, spending time on it, I think that great knowledge comes from putting a lot of work into something, been consistent in what even you are doing, just like the community hive, a lot of people spent time on it, trying to improve themselves thereby giving hive as a community recognition, hive token value and at the same process improving themselves. this platform helps build you and at the same time make money they are a lot of opportunities like you have said, you have seen an opportunities and you are spending a great amount of time to solve it, which is a very nice concept.😍😍
in life sometimes things we think that are not relevant are the things that matter the most, and things we see in the mountains are just steps, building up something from scratch is no easy and sometime it can be frustrating, as you said it is an opportunity makes it to becomes reality, from what you have said the game is going to be a blast we are waiting for your project, and hope it comes out sooner.
Very interesting that you are actually building another game at full throttle as well.
It's interesting how you need to fill up your attention span. They said multitasking is unproductive, but with your experience, I think, multitasking is a personal thing.
Carving out most utility out of the Hive Blockchain is a gold goal and highly desirable. I've always looked at the the potential of Hive Blockchain and I strongly believe that it hasn't been tapped to the fullest.
Thanks to developers like you (and others), working to bring the best out of the Hive Blockchain.
Passion is truly at the forefront of most open source and decentralised Blockchain developers, I can't commend you less. Keep up the good work. And I believe your passion will earn you more credibility and incentives.

I am. That and Pantheon. Its crazy I was actually in talks with investing in Pantheon before Brad died, I put the decision off to calculate making one from scratch based off mythology. Before I really got to decide he passed away. Everquest was my favorite mmo of all time. So i was really investing in Brad. But I would say those are the two promising mmos upcommint.

I agree especially with the part on VC wishing to be getting their premine tokens in layer one.
Most VCs prefer to build their L1 so they have more control with the tech, and the pump and dump. With Hive, there is relatively limited room to do monkey business.
Yes, the potential is huge if more money comes to build stuffs on Hive’s layer 2.
Having to study a subject doesn't really mean you can't make something out of it without the study but to have diversified knowledge and have more better ways to implement it and grow in knowledge.
It takes someone who is emotionally balanced to multitask the way you do.
I really commend you for that.
I like this job personally and try to work hard and get the job done as you say.🤗
