So therefore it is on chain and encrypted with Memo key. So is there a fee to send a message?

You give example of "say" 0.001 HIVE. Is this a fee the Hive App will charge for sending a message?

Of course at that amount at current price its negligible, yet say HIVE price goes up to $10, then sending 1000 messages would have cost $10, so i would not use for everyday messaging, but a way to send my ID for another encrypted messenger with no fees, eg. Session. Make sense?

    • I agree that "0.001 Hive" is negligible at the moment.
    • Even If I send 1000 messages, cost of sending messages would be very high.
    • I am well aware of this situation.
    • I am thinking of building something similar to SMS & iMessage.
    • SMS are always chargeable by network provider = SMS = hive
    • SMS will be shown in green colour
    • iMessages are always free of charge = custom JSON on Hive
    • iMessage will be shown in blue colour
