Breaking Through the Glass Ceiling

Lately I’ve been doing a lot of inner work around self-limiting beliefs and doubts, specifically around the idea of abundance — challenging this belief that I have a “glass ceiling” or cap to what I can make, that I always have to hustle to make ends meet, etc.

I had an opportunity to do an energy cleaning (live, in person) and jumped on it. I could visibly feel the energy being lifted, and then the shaman reinforced a lot of these same concepts around realizing my inner capabilities and having more productive inner dialogues.

Then, tonight I was cooking and heard something that sounded like a gunshot. The glass pane over the stovetop had exploded!

After the initial shock wore off, my thoughts turned to worrying how much it was going to cost to replace and also annoyed that I'd have to spend a bunch of time cleaning up glass when I had “more important shit” to do.

Then, another thought crossed my mind: “I’ve broken through my glass ceiling!”

Can I “prove” it? Not exactly.

But it’s a far more empowering (and hence useful) thought than those other ones! Not to mention, I was not standing next to the stove when this happened.

So this was a victory on many levels. But here’s a few "gains":

  1. I went from reactive to creative mode
  2. I changed my inner dialogue to a more empowering one
  3. I am interpreting my physical/outer reality in ways that are in harmony with my inner world/vision, bringing them into alignment

Essentially, I was actualizing all these concepts I teach—like alchemizing crap into gold—and that I strive to embody in my own life but sometimes fall short. I guess I needed a (quite jarring) reminder!

As an intuitive coach, I’ll help you discover how you, too, can have more empowering inner dialogues and alchemize crap into gold. Intrigued? Go here to learn more.
