I remember you first talking about this year (trip); Your hopes, expectations, what you were looking forward too. It was all so exciting...Now...Thanks to the failure of China to act quickly enough, or with integrity and a lot of hype...Well, I'm sure you've had some highlights and good times, but it's probably fair to say it wasn't the trip you expected.
No. We were saying that had we planned a walking trip in Somerset to see family, we would have been happy as pigs in mud. Choosing to be happy about the trip we have had - it's been very amazing in that regard!!!
I do think China warned us, it's just the west paid no attention. It was seen as a Chinese disease and nought to do with us. I'm not blaming China - in fact, I'm fed up with the blame game, which just doesn't help, and spreads too much animosity we just dont need in teh world. x
I think it's important to take whatever happened (happens) and find something of vale...This trip included. Whatever happened happened and it can't be changed so we might as well find a positive. You know what I'm saying? I think you do this sort of thing anyway.
