As you get older and [maybe] better at what you do, it becomes harder to create something that satisfies you. Before this shot, it was a while, few years that I had not taken a shot that made me go "wow, this it, this is what I wanted".
I climbed a mountain with two of my friends. To check my physical abilities, I filled my camera bag with every photography related equipment I had. After reaching the peak and enjoying the view we started declining. It was getting late the sun was setting and I was tired. I was always behind because of taking photos. I saw my friend there and with out telling him I took out the camera and took this shot.
I guess back then it was what I wanted, something to make me feel I still can capture great shots.
Is it a great shot?
All photos are taken by me, except noted.
@brumest
As always, thanks a lot!
And now I realized the color version of the shot is almost black and white, so why not make it black and white for the monomad chanllenge?
@qurator Thanks for the support.
You're welcome!
Good to see you back and posting.
Reusing images previously posted in Hive is not the best thing to do. It normally doesn't end well.
If you decide to do it please make sure the post has plenty of fresh and new content in it too (text and other images), not just the black and white conversion. Otherwise someone might report you for content recycling.
Yep, you're right, thanks for the point. Anyway, I have so many photos gathering dust on my hard drives, no need to use that again.
