The fear of the Lord means obeying the Lord, doing what the Lord wants from us, obeying his wills and acting in the righteous manner. This should not be about you alone but making sure that you teach your kids through the right path so that when they grow, they will be used to it and never have have to change their ways.
The fear of the Lord must be our ways of life. One important thing that God wants us to do is have the fear of God. Living within the commandment of God is the way to keep our family safe and intact.
