I believe that if we want to know or have more knowledge about something, we will be eager to learn such thing every day and do not set a timeframe or when we should study because we are willing to know more about it.
And, as we are taught, we must be also taught to observe those things that we have learned because it will be a lifetime career. And when learning the word of God, we have to remain in the word of God and most importantly, surround ourseves with the word of God. Also, we should continue in the word of God.
John 8:31 says; Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
So being a disciple of Jesus Christ is quite easy. As long as you remain in the words and teachings of God just as Jesus Christ portrayed during his days on earth, then, you are his disciple.
You do not just study the word of God. There will be no point studying the word of God when you know that you won’t put it to use. The best way to be familiar with the ways of God is to put the teachings in the Bible to use. We should not set a particular time when we should learn the word of God.
We should always learn it when we have time or when we are free and even when we do not carry our Bibles to read what’s inside, we should at least do good to people.
We should treat people exactly how Jesus Christ wants us to treat people and how he treated others during his lifetime.
That’s how to learn the word of God and not only by reading the Bible and not putting it to use.
We should make out time to always study the word of God, only then can we be considered true disciples of Jesus Christ.
