In this continuation of Bro. Eli Soriano’s teaching, we are reminded that obedience to God’s will is not optional but a true mark of being a Christian. We cannot claim to love God while ignoring His commandments. To fulfill His will on earth is our sacred duty.
Our obedience to the word of God should be seen in the way we treat those we meet and see, this includes caring for them, supporting each other through hard times , carrying each other's burden and then sincerely loving each other just like our father in heaven loved us.
In today's gospel , we were meant to understand that in as much as the ten commandment should not be discarded , but it is no longer enforced in the world of today, this is because the law of Jesus Christ is what is enforced. The law of Jesus Christ is much more deeper and teach us more about love mercy and compassion in every aspect of life.
We are encouraged not just learn about obedience, but to put it in action by helping those around us in difficult moments. True obedience is more than just words, it is shown Through love and service.
In the end, our faithfulness and obedience to God’s will prepare us for the final judgment, where the promise of the kingdom of God awaits those who lived according to His word.

Without love and service, there is no reflection of true obedience.
As children of God the will of God should be at the centre of our hearts. There is reward in obeying God
Being obedient alone would make us abide by his will and only then can we inherit his kingdom.
