The Bible says that a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife. It didn't say wives. So, God does not make room for many wives. When He created Eve for Adam, it was one woman. God didn't create many women for one man. Make one wife for one woman. The Bible says: and they two shall become one flesh. That is one man and one wife. So polygamy is not what God permits.
When we want to do the will of God, we must learn to subdue our passion for God. We cannot serve God and our flesh together. If a man walks according to the lust of the flesh, he won't be able to serve God. We cannot do the will of God, if we don't learn to discipline ourselves and subdue our passion.
The Lord didn't approve polygamy for those who practiced it. Abraham, our father, married only Sarah. It was after the death of Sarah that he married the second wife. Those who are using religion to soothe their lustful desires are not serving the true God.
Is written in the bible fo us to be of the word, which and for us as guidiance.
