Oramos a Dios con muchos propósitos. ||| We pray to God for many purposes.

When we are in need or distress we cry out to God in prayer, God responds, we learn to know Him and we participate in His work in us.

Jehovah established his throne in heaven,
And his kingdom rules over all.
20 Bless the Lord, you his angels,
Mighty in strength, who execute his word,
Obeying the voice of his precept.
21 Bless the Lord, all of you his armies,
His ministers, who do his will.
22 Bless the Lord, you all his works,
In all the places of his dominion.
Bless the Lord, my soul.

Psalms 103:19-22

Surely at some point in your life you asked yourself like me: If God knows everything and is in control of everything, what is the reason we pray? I understand that apart from presenting our needs to Him and recognizing that God has the power to work and answer our prayers, He wants us to get involved by being part of the transformative work on earth by being partners in the eternal plan.

11 And I am no longer in the world; but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep those whom you have given me in your name, so that they may be one, just as we are.

John 17:11

In this painting we see that the Lord Jesus Christ asks his father to protect the disciples, for what reason would it be, the Lord thought that they could distance themselves from him or simply lose their salvation? I think not, let us remember that The Lord Jesus Christ himself was God incarnate and knew everything that would happen in the future. He was very clear that these men would fulfill the mission of speaking the gospel to every creature and for this the Lord Jesus Christ asked him to protect his disciples.

34 Who is he who will condemn? Christ is the one who died; Furthermore, he who also rose again, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

Romans 8:34

God is ALL powerful and can build whatever he wants with or without us, but everything he has made and everything he has prepared is for us, his love is for us, he wants us to have a relationship with him being instruments of his justice. The word of God strengthens us, praying brings us closer to him in trust.

We have the highest privilege of speaking with God through prayer, we are invited to have a relationship with him, he LOVES us, prayer reinforces that connection and trust with God, we need to pray to get closer and closer to Him he.

Cuando estamos en necesidad o angustia clamamos a Dios en oración, Dios responde, aprendemos a conocerle y somos partícipes de su obra en nosotros.

Jehová estableció en los cielos su trono,
Y su reino domina sobre todos.

Salmos 103:19-22

Seguramente en algún momento de tu vida te preguntaste al igual que yo: ¿Si Dios conoce todo y tiene el control de todo, cual es la razón que oremos? Entiendo que a parte de presentarle nuestras necesidades y reconocer que Dios tiene el poder para obrar y contestar nuestras oraciones, desea que nos involucremos siendo parte de la obra transformadora en la tierra siendo socios en el plan eterno.

11 Y ya no estoy en el mundo; mas estos están en el mundo, y yo voy a ti. Padre santo, a los que me has dado, guárdalos en tu nombre, para que sean uno, así como nosotros.

Juan 17:11

En este cuadro vemos que el señor Jesucristo pide a su padre que proteja a los discípulos, ¿por qué razón sería, el señor pensaba que podrían alejarse de él o simplemente perder la salvación?, creo que no, recordemos que el mismo señor Jesucristo era Dios encarnado y sabía todo lo que acontecería en el futuro, tenía bien claro que estos hombres cumplirían la misión de hablar del evangelio a toda criatura y para ello el señor Jesucristo pidió que protegiera a sus discípulos.

34 ¿Quién es el que condenará? Cristo es el que murió; más aun, el que también resucitó, el que además está a la diestra de Dios, el que también intercede por nosotros.

Romanos 8:34

Dios es TODO poderoso y puede construir lo que desee con o sin nosotros, pero todo lo que ha hecho y lo que ha preparado es para nosotros, su amor es para nosotros, desea que tengamos una relación con él siendo instrumentos de su justicia. L palabra de Dios nos fortalece, orar nos acerca a él en confianza.

Tenemos el mas alto privilegio de hablar con Dios por medio de la oración, estamos invitados a tener una relación con él, nos AMA, la oración refuerza esa conexión y confianza con Dios, necesitamos orar para acercarnos más y más a él.
