Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Confessing your sins to one another. If you sinned against me I must pray for you.
1 John 5:16 KJV
If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
You will ask and give your brother live when does not sin unto death. The sins committed not delibrately
There are sins unto death but you will not pray for it.
1 Peter 4:8 KJV
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
Love is the remedy it covers multitude of sins, we have multitude of sins because thought of foolishness is sin etc
You should pray for one another is the commandment of God not to man.
Psalm 32:5 KJV
I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord ; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
Confession is to God first, then to the person you've sinned against.
Whosoever cover his sins shall not prosper,
We will also ask God for the forgiveness of our sin and for others. When a righteous man is praying it availeth much for the person he is praying for. The wickedness of people in the days of Elijah was much, but God sent him to only one widow.
Luke 4:25 KJV
But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
Elisha succeeded Elijah, there were many lepers in his day but only Naaman was cleansed.
During the time of Elijah, he prayed to God for rain, so that the people can change their ways.

when Daniel was praying with all his windows wide opened, there is a difference.

The family of God is said to be the household of God.
1 Timothy 3:15 KJV
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
The house of God is not the building made with hands, sand, bricks, not even gold.
Acts 17:24 KJV
God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
God does not dwell in temples made with hands but He dwells in us.

Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

The house built by Solomon is called the house of prayer.

Jesus is the head and Priest of the house of God i.e the church of the living God. Doctrine is different from the discipline. the doctrine is Prayer.Discipline bring aboutorderliness in everything we do.

Benefits of prayers for us include our sins been forgiven and healing is another benefit.
