Obedience to God’s will (Part 1 of 2)

If we follow His commandments, we are on the side of God. We are inside the things of God, and God will be with us also.
The will of God is for us to obey His commandments, primarily that is the will of God for us.

Ecclesiastes 12:13:
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

In the commandments, the will of God is expressed to us

Psalms 40:8:
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

It is God’s law we have to obey to do the will of God, to be in the care and in the jurisdiction and in the law of God

Matthew 28:20:
Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age."

For us to be on the side of God or for us to be under the jurisdiction of God or if we want to be close to God, if we want the Lord Jesus Christ to always accompany us in this life, we have to do all His commandments. To be under God’s care, compassion and guidance, we have to obey His will and the will of God are His laws, accoridng to the Bible—that is the only way for us to reach heaven.

Matthew 7:21:
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

John 14:23:
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

The Father and the Lord Jesus Christ will dwell in a man obeying His commandments, keeping His words.

For us to be on the side of God, then we have to obey his commandments.

When you obey God it shows that we really love Him.

God demands that we must be obedient to his word
