Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog.
It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano
To do the will of God means obeying His commandments, because His will is revealed through His laws. Therefore, if we truly want to follow God’s will for our lives, we must live in obedience to His commandments.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”
This verse clearly instructs us to fear God and keep His commandments. It reminds us that fulfilling God’s will begins with reverence toward Him and obedience to His laws, because His commandments express His will for humanity.
Psalms 40:8
“I delight to do Thy will, O my God: yea, Thy law is within my heart.”
Here, the psalmist expresses joy in doing God’s will because God’s law is written in his heart. This means that the will of God is inseparable from His law, and if we want to follow His will, we must keep His commandments close to our hearts and obey them sincerely.
Matthew 28:20
“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
In this passage, Jesus instructs His disciples to teach all nations everything He has commanded. This shows that observing God’s commandments draws us nearer to Him and places our lives under His care, not only today but until the end of time.
Matthew 7:21
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
This scripture teaches that merely calling Jesus “Lord’’ is not enough to enter God’s kingdom. Only those who do the will of God will inherit eternal life. According to this verse, obedience to God’s will is the determining factor for entering heaven.
John 14:23
“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”
This verse is straightforward. Jesus explains that anyone who truly loves Him will keep His words meaning His teachings and commandments. In return, God the Father will love that person, and both the Father and the Son will dwell with him.
Bro. Eli taught, if we desire to obey God’s will, then we must follow His commandments. This is our duty as human beings and the true way to show our love for God.
