You can be a prayerful person infact a prayer warrior in church but you are not close to God. In our world today we have a lot of fake christians that claims to be close to God some will be deceiving people all in the name of prayers and seeing visions just to extort money from people, all in the name of they have ministry and they can pray. But being close to God goes beyond the axis of only prayers because the bible said that not all that calls me father are my children.
When we talk about coming close to God we are talking about being a genuine born again Christian, a person that is concerned with the things of God not just prayers. someone can pray 7 times a day but still far from God. when we are talking about people coming close to God, we mean people that has given themselves out to serve God in truth and in spirit, whole heartedly dropping every form of sin and uncleanness and letting God inside there hearts to dwell forever and not temporarily.
And running away from worldly things that could make us to go far from God.
When I'm saying that prayer is not enough to get close to God I'm not saying you shouldn't pray because prayer is also important in our life but don't just do it for deceit.
Prayers should not prevent us from carrying out actions. There are things we can do on our path

Please @buildawhale I have noticed that my reward has been removed for a long time now by you, what could be the problem... I was blacklisted by hivewatchers and I have served the punishment giving to me by hivewatchers which took me up to 1 month of writing and declining payment for my appeal.. because what else is my offence now????????
Which I know I have never repeated that same mistake after serving the punishment from hivewatcher....and they finally lifted off my punishment after I have completed it @buildawhale please I want to know the reason for my deduction which I know I have made an appeal, this is not fair na
