Seeking God is a process that is undertaken by a large number of people in their various stages in life. Others start this search during the moments of pain, others in moments of confusion and others in a strong desire to get a meaning.
The search is not novel, as demonstrated in the Bible since the beginning of the world till the end of times, men and women have been questioning God, His existence and His will.
Jeremiah 29:13 explains in the Bible that when we seek God we will find God, when we seek Him with all our heart. This reminds us that God is not distant and unreachable by us and He desires to be found.
However, we are to seek God with a good heart. It is not only about attending church or reading scriptures but opening our hearts, praying sincerely and living by His word.
God is sought by several people through prayers, fasting and worship. However, the Bible calls it as the only way of knowing God since we can only know Him through our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We start seeing God clearly when we read the bible, follow the teachings and walk in love.
Seeking God is not a single occurrence, it is a daily walk. He will open up his peace, purpose and direction in our lives as we go on trying to find Him.
