People Without Religion –
What does the bible say about them

We live in a vast world with various religions. There are religions in existence that you are not even aware of. But in this video, brother Eli drives our attention to people who don't have a religion. There's no doubt that such a set of people exist. And we look into some of the reasons for such a lifestyle.

The first reason brother Eli points out for the cause of people not belonging to any religion is because some of them see it as a platform for extorting money from people. This is actually the wrong mindset. However, this notion is being generated in their minds because of the behavior of some "so-called" Men of God.

Not all men of God are genuine. Some of them are false men of God. Some pastors have turned their churches into money-making businesses, which is a grave offense before the Lord.

This brings to mind my remembrance of when Jesus chased out people from the temple who used it to do business. The same thing is still happening in some churches today. The difference is it is now done in disguise. The intent of such pastors is to enrich themselves and nothing more.

Seeing such behavior by people who come across such churches has a huge effect on the way they see churches. This can make them lose interest in accepting Christianity. Another reason why some people believe in Christianity is simply because they don't believe in God.

Now according to the Bible, this set of people are actually worse than the first category of people: people who believe the purpose of church is to extort money from them. Brother Eli shows us something in the Book of Psalms 53, verse 1. It says:

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.

In the eyes of God, this set of people are considered fools. I've come across many people with such a mindset. In their minds, they think they are being reasonable for their claims. But in the real sense, they are actually fools in the sight of God.

We know such people to be called atheists. These are different from people who don't believe in God because they believe it to be a platform for making money. Unfortunately for these people, they stepped foot into churches they shouldn't have, and it made them proclaim a wrong judgment to every other church.

Brother Eli makes us know that the true meaning of religion is worship. This is what religion is all about. Every deity seeks to be worshipped. You find this common with every religion. There's no religion that doesn't offer worship to their gods. The same thing goes with God.

God demands worship from us above everything else. Worship is what joins us with God while we are dwelling on earth and He in heaven. It's virtually impossible to access God without this.
In all our endeavors, we should try to render effective worship to God. Remain blessed.
