MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 6 HELD ON 23RD MAY 2022.

Mass indoctrination day 6
Thank you Jesus for the gift of life. All thanks belongs to you God.
Today I learnt that the prayer of an upright is God's delight. I also learnt that God has a household on earth which is the church of God.
1 Timothy 3:5 I understood that the house of God is the church of God. This is his family in earth, and this is not a place built by men. God does not dwell in temples made by hands. The spirit of God dwells in you and not in places made by hands. We as Christians has a duty to pray and the house built by Solomon was called a house of prayer by God. This is different from where God dwells because God doesn't dwell in hand made temples.

Also when we pray we should avoid repetitions, the house of God which is the church of God is the house of prayer. The leader of the house if God is Christ.
Hebrew 3:6 made me understand that christ is the head and keeper of the house of God. The house of God is not a house made by cement but the house of God is the church of God. This a place to pray and communicate with God. In praying there is a discipline and doctrine to follow. Prayer is a doctrine and this is different from discipline. It is God's commandments for us to pray, but things should be done decently and in order.
1 Corinthians 14:40 God wants us to do things decently and in order. We should always learn to pray in a decent and acceptable way by God. We are ought to kneel before God and pray, we do this to maintain that discipline and decency in prayer.

We should understand the need for prayer as a doctrine of God. We should pray to God in the right way. Also we should understand the doctrines of God, so that we can live and pray in the doctrines of God. In praying we kneel down and bend our knees. Praying should also be without ceasing, there would be no break to prayer. Prayer is the delight of our God.

Lessons from today's mass indoctrination

1. Today I understood that God does not dwell in man made temples. The church of God is his household on earth and this is a place where he dwells. This is a place where we go to pray, the house of God is not built with earthly or material things.

2. I also learnt that the prayer of an upright is a delight to God. We should know that prayer is a doctrine of God. When we pray there a disciples and decency guiding the way we pray to God. We are ought to kneel on our knees in respect to God when praying. Also we should avoid vain repetitions in our prayers.
